Does this work as in for your 'purchases' you can buy a bitcoin (or part of a bitcoin if that's possible) up to the value of your purchase then spend it immediately therefore buying and 'trading' at the same rate? Does that not remove your above worry about losing money or am I missing the point. Which is a distinct possibility.:\

Do you have to buy one bitcion at a time? If so I can understand your worry with the system PTCH. I guess I'm missing something though mate I've not used them. But I understand your uncertainty and worry PTCH. Looks like a minefield to me with the price fluctuating all over the place.

Oh man I agree about being out of your depth mate. Fucking hell what is this all about? I feel I'm going to be hearing a lot more about them though and may have to get used to it for like you say making 'purchases'.

I think the problem crackhead describes can occur because the transition from real money to internet drug coupons isn't instant. I see talk of 24 hour delays in some cases. Anyone able to shed light on this?

Aye, that's the problem & vendors not updating their prices rapidly. So I don't want to drop £100 on bitcoins today to find out I have £50 worth tomorrow.

Can anyone shed some light on this barclays payment things? It seems to be as close to instant as possible. Like I said, someone gave me full instructions before but I never got round to using them & have since forgot.

There's not fucking way I'd be trusting my hard earned "drug treat money" to bitcoins at the moment.

I trust the currency enough, it's just the fluctuations in value that have got me spooked. I don't expect to lose my money but don't want to take a mad hit because of a change in exchange rate & likwise I don't want to pay an amount today & find out it could have been double tomorrow.

Further help required on buying the things btw. Please. I know ceres is trying to hep but I'm still confused.

My "heard earnded drug money" got me some free weed this week because I'd forgot about .7 of a bitcoin ages ago. Jackpot. Now the price is fleeing all over the shop though & I've got back into the idea of purchasing things this way, particularly as there's a few specifics I'd like for this rave ting.

Thats exactly the reason I wouldn't trust a bitcoin. Don't know enough about it, and the time taken with purchases etc to be sure i wouldn't be making a mad loss.
 
I think as long as you check the exchange rate against the purchase price then you're safe. The prices vary based on the current value of the bitcoin. I just don't want to go buying right before they start to peak again.

Don't fuckin do it while you're xannied up. Get a bottle of "wine" down you first so you don't make any rash decisions you might regret later.
 
I hear you MM. Excuse me if I'm talking shite but a day or so ago I would have had to buy one bitcoin at $260 dollars. The day after my 'coin' is only worth $75. I mean what the fuck and is it true that it takes up to 24 hours to transfer into your wallet or whatever. Sorry, that's to much of a fucking risk. Even for the obvious 'advantages' of this rave ting.

I'm only gonna spunk a ton at it & see what I can get. I never went out this weekend so it's basically free money (ie, I would have drank it otherwise). Just trying get the most bang for my buck, so to speak.

No Wine. Alcohol free weekend for me.
 
If you're gonna do it, I'd just get everything set in motion, so there's no fucking delays, or the very minimum of delays between you buying your coin, and handing it to a store.

Get crystal meth!
 
use that usd instant exchage or wiretrasfer the money to an exchanger like mtgox, so the money is sitting in your account with them and you can buy instantly when the price suits you
