They're Ivy League rowers. If you've seen "The Social Network", they're the privileged cunts that hired Mark Zuckerberg and were furious when he took their idea (for facebook) and made it work then flipped them off.
 
From what I've read they plan to mine 21 million bitcoins, so far they have mined just over 11 as far as I know (that bit could be a bit dated maybe), and it will take another 130 years to mine the rest.

The opportunity for a good investment return from them is gone IMO. They hit £148 a coin a couple of days ago before they took a bit of a hit. Too unstable at the moment really.

The bitcoin exchange, MTGox, went offline twice on Friday, first, in order to install new hardware to help cope with increased trading volumes and then to avoid a "stronger than usual" hack attack.
