Bitcoins for AUD

Hey guys,

I've been checking out Silk Road and I was wondering if there's anyone who can recommend me places with decent bitcoin exchange rates? The best I've been able to find is approximately $10 AUD for 1 bitcoin. I've heard of people exchanging them for about $1.06 per bit coin but have yet to find them.

I'd usually recommend spendbitcoins.com but lately their prices have gone way up. I just ordered $80 worth of BTC and ended up forking out $140. $1 per bitcoin is definitely a scam, if you're paying about $10 a bitcoin you're getting a good deal.
