hey guys

im a bit of a budn00b. trying to get more into and knowing with weed. i had knee surgery on friday, and am on a few prescription drugs on a count of this, and i was wondering if i'd be fine to smoke a little bit of bud i picked up today on top of them or not.

currently im on:
endone (oxycodone)
tramadol
phenergan
paracetamol
and celebrex

will i experience any clashes or anything with weed? i assume weed can clash with some drugs?

any advice appreciated. sorry for being so n00bish on the subject.

no need to apologise, aint done anything wrong-
and it aint being noobish, just concerned.

its perfectly fine to toke up, you wont experience any clashes or "cancelling out" with the meds.

happy toking, and happy bicycle day ;)

awesome thanks guys, and cheers for assuring me im not being a noob. i do get a little concerned with these things and like to stay safe :)

much appreciated

I've smoked over 3 of the 5 you listed and it helped with the nausea associated with each. I am scripted oxy and tramadol, among a bunch of others. It's safe, but don't expect to get much done for the rest of the day.

Man you are so lucky.

Here's what i'd do

Take your meds, and wait for them to kick in, THEN smoke a ton. You won't feel a thing from your surgery. Also, weed usually keeps my opiate nausea at bay.
I envy you, all I have are the opiates, and no weed.

Good job asking too man, it's harm reduction here so BL is glad to help. Safety first, then teamwork.

Im sure a lot of people would rather be in your position with your opiates, but aye, the grass is always greener i guess :p

cheers again for the help guys

im running out of my meds :(
probably best because i've felt my tolerance starting to build. didnt end up smoking too much but definitely had no problem, felt pretty good for a light high, and was definitely some awesome pain relief.
