Hey guys, this might be a little silly and I'll admit I am stoned. Instead of getting the usual cheetos and coke munchies, I opted out and decided to get 2 apples instead. I didnt feel like eating them right away so I opened my window and set them on a little snow bank to keep them fresh.

When I grabbed them I took a bite immediately and while chewing I noticed 2 little marks in the shape of teeth. I swallowed half the apple in my mouth and spit the rest out. I went back to the window to look for paw prints and sure enough, there were paw prints leading straight to the apples. I had bit literally half an inch below the teeth marks.

Is this a possible way to get rabies, and if so what are the odds? Its really cold here in Canada and I live in a suburb. I know raccoons arent very active this time of year but theyre still out there. Im hoping it was just a cat

Simplest answer i can give to you is go to the doctor immediately to get a checkup and please dont leave food like that again

If you go to the doctors they will give you Rabies shots, because Rabies cannot be detected or tested for until symptoms start, and once symptoms begin there is a 90+% fatality rate after that (usually within 5-10 days).
The only way to be sure you won't die is giving the shots as soon as you fear you have been infected.

Go to see a doctor and tell the what happened, and how you worry about exposure to rabies and want to be vaccinated for it.
