birth controll and zoloft--- which drugs should I avoid while on these

I am currently on birth controll pills to regulate periods and acne... Im also on zoloft for anti depressant purposes and have been on and off for 2 years. Ive experimented with pot, opiates and booze-- im kinda young (16) and not too into drugs,but for future reference and out of curiosity, id kinda like to know---- i was also told that zoloft and birth contoll would "cancell eachother out" because of birth controll's occasional side -effect of inducing or worsening depression.. it sounded uninformed to me when i heard it, but it sparked curiosity in me, also.
any feedback on this issue would be GREATLY appreciated. Thankyou--

The "responsible" answer is not to do any drugs. If your taking anti-depressants then you are having some sort of mental health issue, and recreational usage of drugs could aggravate it. But recreational drug usage could help it too, so who knows....
There aren't too many danger with taking drugs with Zoloft (that I know of) but I have no idea about the birth control...

The only kind of drug I can think of that would lessen the effectiveness of birth control would be benzos... although there are others, I would look at the info given to you that comes with the pills, it should tell you there.
 
The only drugs that I'm aware of that reduce the efficacy of the birth control pill are barbituates, phenylbutazone, phenytoin sodium, carbamazepine and possibly with griseofulvin, ampicillin (antiobiotics), rifampin and tetracyclines. Opiates, benzos, stimulants etc do not have any effect on the pill.
As for Zoloft, no, it does not make the pill less effective. However, if you are on Zoloft you can't roll (take MDMA) as you wont get any effects from the MDMA (you won't get high). Also, you will probably have reduced effects from meth (you won't get as high as you would otherwise). Other than that, you can do pretty much any drug on Zoloft.
