Bioavailability and duration of insufflated heroin?

I was wondering if anyone knew what the bioavailability of (powder) heroin is when you snort it, or at the very least, why it's hard for me to find accurate info on this anywhere on BL/the internet. Also, how long do the effects of insufflated heroin last, compared to say a recreational dose of crushed Oxycodone, also snorted? Ignoring tolerance and other variables, just roughly. Erowid usually has a nice chart with onset/time to peak/comedown etc. but I can't find one for heroin.

Heroin varies from batch to batch, purity to purity. So its BA will be different depending on how much of it is actually pure diacetylmorphine. However, a rough estimate would be around 40-50% bioavailability when insufflated. Without factoring in tolerance, it'll last for a few hours on average depending on the quality of the product. Snorting H is pretty similar to snorting Oxy, so if you have experience with that, you can pretty much imagine what it would be like, aside from the fact that heroin is stronger.

Ive always wondered since the bioavailability of snorting h is 50% does that mean that it would give u the same effect if u took twice as much as shooting it would be without the faster onset ofcourse?

I feel like Roxis give a more awake high while H makes you more prone to nod out. Both make me forget a lot of shit. H makes my chest feel more deflated. I feel like Roxis last longer but that depends on dose. Basically theres a lot of variables

If a cookie has 1/2 the calories, doesn't that mean we can have 2x as much? However with the heroin I would expect it to work somewhat like that, though I don't think you'd need twice as much because what's measured is the analgesia - not the actual euphoria.
