Paul Baumer of Bingo Players Dies of Cancer

Bingo Players’ Maarten Hoogstraten announced today on the group’s Facebook page that his DJ partner, Paul Bäumer, lost his battle to cancer yesterday, December 17. A message from the group’s Maarten Hoogstraten thanks fans for their support and confirms the cancellation of gigs and events through the end of 2013.

Best known for their track “Cry (Just A Little),” which was sampled on Flo Rida’s Top 10 hit, “I Cry,” the duo rose out of the Dutch house scene with several underground tracks before cracking the global market with singles like “Cry” and “Rattle.”

First time I heard this I was cruising along a highway late at night listening to Azmac Vs Robyn Gold's "LAST MAN STANDING" Wah Wah promo mix in Dec 2011, definitely remember hearing just thinking "OH MY GOD WHAT IS THIS!?" this song is so wild.

Meh never liked rattle but damn did the Bingo Players know how to make music. So sad that we've come so far but have yet to cure cancer. IMO with all this new technology the cure to cancer will prove vital to the newer generations, although if all diseases were cured we'd be equally fucked. Anyways R.I.P Paul :'(

I've had a family member died from cancer. It's so sad and I agree that hopefully moving forward we will have the technology to cure and treat cancer more effectively. None of this chemo as it was so rough on my family.
