What I dont understand is when people have access to the internet etc why they dont check what they are buying.

This kind of thing is very bad for the RC scene.
Anyone remember all the shit & hassles over 2C-T-7 a few years ago & it was shady street dealers that killed people.
This kind of exposure will only force the government to pass an analog act (FAA) sadly.

Banning things never worked, the way to ssolve it is in proper into on use, effects etc.

I've been doing RC's for 13 years with no problems.

This is the thing about harm reduction when it comes to pills. You can tell as many people as you can that green rolex's are dodgy and kill people, but they are never going to get binned. Someone will always take the fuckers until they are all gone. So you are just displacing the harm. If drugs are going to be illegal, the least the government could do is triple sentences for people found to be selling these.

You must have a much wider definition of what constitutes an RC than I do.

Yeah, but most of them were already illegal by that stage... Ok, go back 30 or 40 years then they probably were legal, but go back far enough then heroin & cocaine were legal as well....

Nothing legal worked before mephedrone if that's what you mean. I used to avoid vendors, or herbal high shops as they were then known, like the plague because they never sold anything that worked. Then along came pirate. And internet vendors.

I can't name the vendor even though they no llonger trade, the DEA closed them down is a big enough hint but as people have said before me F.U.B.A.R things like 2-CB, 2C-T-7, DPT for example.
One place even had DOM though it was class A it was still being sold.

A few people had issues & someone died from a T-7 overdose & the vendor was charged with it.

There are people here with far better knowledge of that time than me & I have to be very careful in what I say as I can't say anything that will be classed as sourcing but treacle & stone happy monday have said it already.

Have a look on erowid for example & it has dates selected things were banned.
I would say more but I think I've said enough on this subject so far.

Yes, I did. Having discovered the RC scene a little too late for the cathinones and the first generation of legal cannabinoids such as the JWH series, I managed to get in there when MXE was first released. That's when I realised that 'legal highs' can be as good, if not better, than the illegal 'classics'. MXE was an absolute gem of a chemical, and I'm still mourning its demise. However, now it's been banned, I'm not keen on sourcing it elsewhere because I'm worried about the quality - in pretty much the same way that if I'd bought Heroin when it was legal, I'd be very wary of buying it on the street now...

Before that, all I remember of legal highs were the smoking mixtures such as 'Yuba Gold' which did fuck all, and the alkyl nitrites such as 'Buzz' etc. Just curious, that's all..

I actually think the RC scene is pretty fucking interesting at the moment. It's all peaks & troughs, & I think of the meph times as a trough, believe it or not. Things are alot more interesting at the moment but not thanks to the big RC suppliers & their stocks of sub-standard pharmacuetical stimulants & downers... You got to look a little harder & dig a little deeper than that to find gold!

I guess in a strict sense there is a difference between a 'research chemical' and an 'unregulated psychoactive,' since one is commissioned for study for medicine, and the other isn't necessarily. But obviously that's not how we use the phrase 'RC' usually. Yes that was just pointless pedantry.

Every time I see someone refer to a drug like PMA as something super-ignorant like 'super-strength ecstasy' I grimace. How is it possible to be so under-informed on something that you're purportedly 'reporting.' Amazing.
