Mar 31 2010: EcstasyData.org Redesign Launched

EcstasyData.org redesigned and Ecstasy tablet tests now only require a $40 co-pay.

wow. cool. i wonder why the fee for powder is still the same though??? nonetheless, good to see.

Itz a great site. I've been up on that site for like 10+ years now. I'm glad to see that they have brought the testing fees down. I wish it go back to free like back in the dayz. Imma check out the newness now.

Thx

This is good news. With the reduced cost I might actually see a pill I've eaten before, cool to see excatly whats in the things as even a kit can't get everything or find the ratio on chemicals.

Yes!!

I am still just as excited as I was before. I hope lots more people will take advantage of this postively amazing service.

What about security, what is preventing the DEA 6 months from now from seizing records from everyone that has sent in pills or substances to be analyzed.

This is my only hesitation.

You can mail things anynomously. There's no need to put your return address I don't believe. I will research this more. You check the results online. Perhaps avcpl will chime in since he (she?) has utilized this service with success.
I will say, ecstasydata has been around for a long time and they continue to operate. There would be more of a stake on their part since they are the receiver of the illicit substances. They must have some sort of licensing and government approval that allows them to operate.

If there was any issue with people getting busted for sending in pills/substances to be tested I think we would have caught wind of it.

Its not bad that you are cautious, more people should be, I just think there is less worry in this case.

Hey, thanks for getting back to me. I've known about and used ecstasydata.org for many years now, and that makes sense to me that the word would get out if this was the case and going on behind closed doors.

Like you said, I'm just being cautious. Thanks for making me feel better about the whole service. I'll most likely see how I can submit anonymously and go that route. I've always been interested in sending in my gear, but now that the price is back down and I feel it's as "safe" as it can be for this kind of thing, I'm sure I'll send some stuff in.

Thanks again.

No problem! :) We're here to keep people safe. I would never suggest anything that would put you in harms way. But it still is essential to do your own research to make the best possible decision for you. :)

If you do decide to submit please make sure to report back your experiences.

I was worried about that too. I did put a return address because I was afraid it wouldn't be delivered. Don't forget in this age of terrorism that things sent without return addresses can be considered suspicious. And since I was sending a cash payment for three pills (not to mention the three pills!) I would have know way of knowing if it ever made it.

I decided on sending it priority mail so it was get there as fast as possible and I could get a tracking number to see when it was delivered. (It was nice to see that it made it there safe and sound!).

I asked the lady at the post office if I had to put a return address. I told her I was mailing an anonymous survey and the instructions said to leave the return address off to ensure non-bias and confidentiality. She said it might not get delivered and was kind of looking at me funny. I didn't want to give them any reason to be suspicious so I just put it down and hoped for the best!

Couldn't you just put the address for ecstasydata.org on the package?

My mortgage company for example doesn't even leave me the option of putting my address as the return address, on the pre printed envelope that they give me, their address is pre printed as the return address.

I would probably just put the address for ecstasydata as the return address.

Duh, why the hell didn't I think of that?! lol

Probably because I was pretty nervous being in a Federal Building mailing a controlled substance!

the lab adress is pretty non conspicuous....

Not enough to warrant a search of your mail....

It sucks that powders cost $120....

Its cool to know what your taking but thats a little much when pills are $40.

The only practical thing i can think of it being for would be if you had a large amount of unidentified powder or suspected it of being something else.

From what I've heard, it's relatively recent that ecstasydata has even accepted powders to be tested.

That is a lot of money for a test, but there is a lot of liability involved as well.

There are lots of substances in powder form that I would definitely consider sending in, ketamine for example, or cocaine. I could also see why heroin users would want to as well, particularly since there have been fentanyl analogs that have been passed off as heroin. These analogs require a MUCH lower dose. So people think that they are taking a normal dose of heroin when in fact they are taking a deadly dose of a different opiod.

Hopefully in the future they bring their prices down, it would be incredible if you could have any substance tested for $40!!

Maybe if people donated to the site the cost of powders could come down too?

I always thought it would be cool if some celebrity when they are doing an event or contest for charity if ecstasydata.org or bluelight was the charity they were playing for!
