Heroin Big Habit Detox

^For opioid WD? Pregabalin never did anything for me in opioid WD, but your definitely not the first to suggest it, maybe there is something to it afterall, I just don't understand what symptoms it would help with.

general mood, anxiety issues, temp. fluctuations and sometimes, motivation- IME.

^ Gabapentin and Pregabalin are also supposed to help with akathisia/RLS and pain. Haven't tried it for opioid WDs myself. It can be dependence-causing though, but supposedly not as bad or as quickly as benzos.

I've used Gabapentin in the past when tapering down on buprenorphine. While I wasn't going through intense withdrawal, I would cut my dose down in half, and when I got below 2mg, I don't think I could have gone any lower (at that rate at least) had it not been for Gabapentin. It totally smooths things out. My one problem is that it has some annoying effects of its own. So for anyone considering gabepentin/Lyrica, don't start off with more than 300mg for Gabapentin, or 75mg for Pregabalin/Lyrica.

Scagnattie, are things getting any better?

I couldn't take it anymore, over 3 straight weeks of being sick was just making me want to pull my hair out. I used again, but that was just because I couldn't get any suboxone. Got it today... now I can get back on it, taper, and then get off for good like I should have before. I'm going to do it right this time. I have everything I need to help with the slight withdrawals when coming off of the suboxone so I have no excuse this time not to succeed.
