Isaiah 25:6-8
In Jerusalem, the lord of heavens armies will spread a wonderful feast for all the people of the world. It will be a delicious banquet, with clear well aged wine and choice meat. There he will remove the cloud of gloom, the shadow of death that hangs over the earth. He will swallow up death forever, the sovereign lord will wipe away all tears. He will remove forever all insults and mockery against his land and people, the lord has spoken.

John 20:19-31

In the evening of that same day, the first day of the week, the doors were closed in the room where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews. Jesus came and stood among them. He said to them, 'Peace be with you,'

and, after saying this, He showed them His hands and His side. The disciples were filled with joy at seeing the Lord,

and He said to them again, 'Peace be with you. 'As the Father sent me, so am I sending you.'

After saying this He breathed on them and said: Receive the Holy Spirit.

If you forgive anyone's sins, they are forgiven; if you retain anyone's sins, they are retained.

Thomas, called the Twin, who was one of the Twelve, was not with them when Jesus came.

So the other disciples said to him, 'We have seen the Lord,' but he answered, 'Unless I can see the holes that the nails made in His hands and can put my finger into the holes they made, and unless I can put my hand into His side, I refuse to believe.'

Eight days later the disciples were in the house again and Thomas was with them. The doors were closed, but Jesus came in and stood among them. 'Peace be with you,' He said.

27 Then he spoke to Thomas, 'Put your finger here; look, here are my hands. Give me your hand; put it into my side. Do not be unbelieving any more but believe.'

Thomas replied, 'My Lord and my God!'

Jesus said to him: You believe because you can see Me. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe.

There were many other signs that Jesus worked in the sight of the disciples, but they are not recorded in this book.

These are recorded so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing this you may have life through His name.

Revelation 18:23
And the light of a lamp will shine in you no more, and the voice of bridegroom and bride will be heard in you no more, for your merchants were the great ones of the earth, and all nations were deceived by your sorcery.
Galatians 5:19-21
Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Acts 13:38-39
Brother's, listen, we are here to proclaim that through this man Jesus there is forgiveness for your sins. Everyone who believes in him is made right in God's sight, something that the law of Moses could never do.

Psalms 23:1-6

The Lord is my shepherd, There is nothing I shall want.

In grassy meadows He lets me lie. By tranquil streams He leads me to restore my spirit.

He guides me in paths of justice as befits His name.

Even were I to walk in the valley of death I should not fear, for You are at my side.

Your staff and your crook are there to soothe me.

You prepare a table for me under the eyes of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup flows over.

Surely goodness and kindness will follow me the rest of my life. I make my home in the house of the Lord forever.

My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass:

For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.

John 14:28
You have heard me say to you, I am going away and coming back to you. If you loved me you would rejoice, because I said I am going to the father, for my father is greater than I.

Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
