It's not really their green policies that interest me - their general policies are pretty good from the bits I've seen. Never looked into properly but are the closest thing (which is not the same as an actually close thing) to a sensible, left-leaning (without being outright Socialist Worker-type stuff) party around these days. Just a shame that they come over as a single issue party cos they'll never get anywhere whilst the general perception is they only cover environmental issues and have no other decent policies. From what I've seen, they seem to be broadly in line with the decent bits of Labour and Lib Dem policy only a bit further over to the left. Which wouldn't be hard seeing how far all the other parties have lurched to the right 8)
