Getting up for work in the early morning only to find out that there's a state of emergency due to the weather and you don't have to go to work.
walking into work 1.2 lit and broke, only to have the whole bar by you a drink.
doing your laundry and finding a $20 bill in the washing machine, that you don't remember misplacing.
going to buy that $85 pair of jeans, that your promised yourself you wouldn't buy, to find out they are on sale; fifty percent off.
Finding out they discontinued your favorite shade of powerdy eyeshadow and finding out they replaced it with a better shade.
sitting around waiting to find out that they came out with a better product that the new pearl tampons or even the compact, for that matter, or something better than a disposal toilet seat.
getting off work early, walking home a few blocks in the rain to come home and put on jammies and your favorite movie.
But nothing in the world could be greater than this....
Waking up everyday to your smiling face-
or maybe not smiling.
But there's just nothing better than,
just waking up next to you.
watching you reach over and hit snooze for the
37th time this morning...
only to turn back around and lay in my arms,
another few minutes.
Nothing in this world is better than that.
getting out of bed at 8.30 in the morning
only to walk downstairs to see you off to work.
see you scrap ice from the car-
and even though it's fifteen degrees out,
i'd rather stand on the porch in my hospital pants,
t-shirt
and watch you as you drive away.
Rather than lay in my bed half awake-
wishing you were here.
i'd rather be cold anyway.
Cause we both know that i can't really sleep
to well
when you aren't stealing the covers from me
and accidentally elbowing me,
in the back.
Nothing in this fucking world compares.
