I don't take these on a regular basis. No heart problems to speak of. It's just sometimes I get anxiety and feel like my heart is racing or going to explode.
Anyway, I have verapamil and atenolol on hand for such an occasion. I've seen that a beta-blocker combined with an adrenergic stimulant can result in periphral effects, such as dangerous hypertension.
This is where the verapamil would come in. Would taking both be a good idea to reduce cocaine-induced tachycardia and hypertension? Or would it be more wise to just take the verapamil without the atenolol?
That's if it's needed. Chances are I wouldn't require either, but I took Yohimbine earlier today and was thinking of partaking in some powder tonight.
