Juat made the switch from propronolol where I was hitting 320mg a day sometimes to 100mg Atenolol taken in the morning.
I have myself a cross-over period and BP seems to have dropped to similar levels.
Atenlolol slows the heart where as propronolol slows the HR and CNS which equals more anxiety relief.
I'm already on benzo's but I don't to lose any anxiety relief giving properties I might be gaining with propronolol.
For BP issues propronolol is now reduced to 4th line med in the UK so I am aware of better meds but Atenlolol like propronolol is dirt cheap.
