I took 40mg of propopanol about 3 hours ago, as i was having a bit of anxiety, i have a small amount of mephedrone here and im wondering would doing a few small lines cause any danger with the prop?

wiki says it has a half life of 4-5 hours, if i waited a bit would it be safe to take later? Thanks

thanks to any advice :)

I've mixed Propranolol 40mg with stims before. Not often, not mephedrone, and was after the high. If you give it a little bit longer it should be fine. But the two mixed do seem like a combo to be hard on the heart. But I'm no expert in either.

thanks, ill either leave it til later or just not do at all til the next night, safest thing to do really.

^Indeed.

Taking beta-blockers means excess epinephrine (released by the stim) will activate your alpha receptors instead causing more vasoconstriction and other alpha mediated effects. Could be quite nasty.

I wouldn't recommend it, I experienced a fairly significant hike in blood pressure one night when smoking 4-mar 12 hours after taking propranolol. I've found it best to wait at least 24 hours between dosing propranolol and dosing stimulants.

Of course, if you're taking propranolol, then you really shouldn't be taking stims anyway, since the condition's it's used to treat are all exacerbated significantly by stimulant use, but that's a matter for another thread I guess :/

Alcohol made it seem like a good idea at the time, ended up doing a bit, felt fine all night but the following days alot of chest pain, fast heart rate and other weird sensations, was planning on avoiding it but lost my inhibitions too much :( Hopefully i didnt do any damage, its mostly gone but ofc only a medical professional can tell me.
