Bestival festival attendees hand in 25K of drugs

Imagine if £25,000 worth of drugs got put into amnesty bins. Fuck knows where that figure came from, but I don't believe it. They had drug bins at Parklife, and all I could think was 'I'm certainly not putting anything in, but I would like to take something out'. I use a safety pin to hold baggies inside my boxers, right above my junk, so there's no way (other than a strip search) they're going to find anything. I've been taken aside for a thorough search, and wasn't surprised that they didn't find anything. If you're a girl, put stuff in your bra...

That VICE article was a good read. I do like VICE.

Probably because it's illegal to sell nitrous to people under 18, if you believe they might be using it to get high. I would assume they'd use that law to confiscate everything. It's fucking stupid, though.
 
i guess if you read at a 5th grade level it can appear like that

Yeah I imagine the police have the power to do that if they suspect the money has been obtained illegally, private security though?

Nitrous is illegal to sell for inhalation to any age, it becomes classed as a controlled drug if that is the case IIRC.

Yeah well acting like a dickhead/cunt to fellow loungers seems like standard operating proceedure and i enjoy reading it and like you said its not sumthing that bothers you

I actually thought that was the case, but the FRANK website told me otherwise. Serves me right for clicking the first result, and believing that shite.

Done en mass at Zoo Project fest last weekend, out in the open, in front of security. No one batted an eyelid.
