Best value priced whiskey?

@axe battler hope you're doing well as far as I can tell major brands come in glass in the larger sizes and only the kinds of whiskey that I'm inclined to drink although not on a regular basis can be dropped on the floor

Does most cheap whiskey come in plastic bottles in 'Murrica? That seems bizarre for some reason. Only booze that commonly comes in plastic here is shitty cider like Frosty Jack's or Ace 🤮
I'm not knocking plastic bottles, apart from they're shit for the environment and they're the reason we've all got plastic in our kidneys now.
This one's pretty good value^^
The better whiskey does come in glass, and that is an indicator of sorts.
What I don't like is that is not true across sizes. A fairly decent whiskey in glass fifths and liters might come in plastic 1.75 liter and/or pint bottles.
In the smaller sizes, "pints" and lower, you have to go significantly further up in price to get glass. I guess they figure that you need unbreakable if you are buying a "pocket rocket"

(I know that they are not "pints" or "fifths", but they always will be to me)

has anyone of you cocksuckers tried label 5 bourbon
fucking decent
but it is not whiskey because it is not from scotland
it is whisky. or bourbon.
you fucking cocksuckers suck my cock

bourbon specific to kentucky. Each region of the world has it's own definition of whisky/whiskey. Bourbon must be 51% corn. Scotch must be malted barley.

So you could add bourbon to your gas tank and it would be similar to e85

Here’s the whiskeys I make. Hemp shine and aged shine.

When I was in survival mode for a year I made hard cider cheaply to drink. Toward the end of that year, I distilled much of it on a "prison still" I put together on my stovetop. It passed the time.

I couldn't make cuts well with my prison still, but I did take a stab at cuts. I definitely tossed the first shot or so (small batches) and eliminated most methanol.

Anyway, I ended up with a few gallons of homemade shine. I aged it on oak chips and cubes. Still an idle hobby to pass the time, but I've learned a lot with all this. I have smelled and tasted heads, tails, and whiskey before and after aging.

Since the quality is mediocre at best, I blend it with storebought whisky. It ain't bad, I guess. I blend it with stuff like Evan Williams and I think it's better than anything like 10 high or other bottom shelf stuff. I'll probably be drinking on it for years.

Is methanol one of the byproducts of fermentation?

Ya. All fermented beverages contain methanol. It's when you concentrate it by distillation that you can run into trouble.
It's why some booze can give a bigger hangover. One reason anyway.
There are quite a few isomers, cogeners, and alcohols made by fermentation. It's why different booze can indeed give different effects.

These cogeners have different boiling points and come off a still in a certain order
(to an extent, it's not a clear delineation, that's why double and triple distilling is good, it separates the cogeners more and gives more pure ethanol)
