Best value priced whiskey?

^^I'm paraphrasing since I'm pretty sure he was talking about weed sacks and not whiskey sacks anyway he's a gin drinker

I'm pretty sure Snoop's a member of bluelight and I wonder why he hasn't started his own gin thread

Yeah I am too. I used to drink whiskey back in the day. All day everyday actually.

I switched to gin years ago though. I started drinking gin in martinis on the rocks, but I also like greyhounds and I have a special fondness for gin and tonics with lime and bitters.

Yep give me a pink gin and tonic anyday. I can hardly stomach whiskey anymore.

That's fine just don't look for any sympathy here cuz you won't find it

Definitely a fan of Dewars white label a solid choice for drinkability no idea about Japanese import versions unless we're talking New Wave records
I run a liquor store, lol. Dewars japanese smooth is dewars 8yr finished in japanese mizunara casks. Smooth as shit (not much body but great for entry level drinks) abd a nice flavor for 28 a bottle.

Im a lil biased since im a major fan of japanese spirits. In fact, my go to househokd staple vodka (my main kick lately) is Haku Vodka by Suntory. Also been digging Hibiki whiskey by Suntory whike i wait for my Miyazaki order.

Best place to buy whiskey is those liquor stores in less frequented areas of town that have the Dewar's white label with the off-white color sometimes those suckers have been gathering dust & mellowing on the shelf for over a decade waiting for their chance to shine

I think you're a hair misinformed about aging whiskey. Whiskey isn't considered to be aging or mellowing unless it's inside of a wooden cask.

Actually whiskey is more fragile in a clear glass bottle and the flavors could breakdown due to exposure to light and heat over time.

Here is a good article from men's journal that explains it.

You didn't know different flavors had different colored bags bro? You're about to get schooled twice in one thread my man. They come in a lot of different colors, pretty much you name it they have one in that color. I'm pretty sure they have even collabed with a few different companies/national sports teams in the past. Would be cool to have a collection of all the different bags

Anyone in here like vodka? My all time favorite is Haku Vodka by Suntory. Thing is, my stirs is backordered 4 weeks until they get more.

My backup is usually Pick Six or Albany distilling (both local to me), but im reaply looking inti something different. What should i look out for?

@neversickanymore spoke up for vodka which is ironic considering his name

My two cents these days is the only reasons to buy expensive vodka is to try and impress people, because it’s expensive or if you have somehow developed a love for some minor flavor left after the distillation.

I used to drink top shelf all the time.. not a chance these days.. it’s Ethel alcohol and H20. So give it to me as clean, pure and cheap as I can get it. No I don’t want a fancy bottle and really want as little taste as possible as I’ll drink something that tastes delicious if I want something delicious to drink.

I drink the Vodka with no sugar and stay well hydrated while doing so and find I’m never sick anymore.
