Hey, I'm kind of an mdma veteran been taking it for years but the stuff I come across around my area is brown sandy and really lacking at the moment so I'm looking for other alternatives. This is my very first post so I have no idea if I'm posting in the right section.

Iv'e been looking and reading about various different drugs like MDPV and MDAI powder etc etc. Can't seem to find the most well known substitute for a effect similar to MDMA or just generally anything thats worth the trouble. I would appreciate so much if someone could give me a little guidance on it

Thanks in advance and sorry if I posted in the wrong section!

I would probably suggest 6-APB as it is the most like MDMA, although I don't think I would enjoy clubbing on it, it may work well with other straight stimulants, I keep meaning to try it alongside ethylphenidate which is also legal. The combination should pharmacologicaly be safe AFAIK, but may be a strain on the heart mixing two RC stims.

If I were you I'd try ethylphenidate and 6-APB separately on their own at home first so you get can idea for how they are going to feel and then maybe try one or the other when you are out clubbing/raving.

Check out EADD too for more UK specific information about legal RCs :)

Hi bombaasta, welcome to Bluelight :)

It's best to read the guidelines before posting, which can be found in my signature. For each forum their respective guidelines can be found at the top of the page. This is a harm reduction forum and we aren't here to help people get high or suggest drugs for them to try. We also can't discuss legal issues. If you would like to rephrase your question to be more specific, for example "What are the safest drugs that provide similar effects to MDMA?" or something like that would be good.

If you are interested in learning about the effects of a particular drug please check out the Trip Reports.

don't try it with ethylphenidate, as EPH is a DRI and 6-APB will most likely be a dopamine releaser (idk about a lot of these MDMA-imitating RCs) thus any dopaminergicity will be canceled out buy each other's effects.

^ Good point; I am not sure about the pharmacology either, but it highlights the dangers of combining RCs - often there is little research/info on them and so the risks of combining them may not be known.

As SD said, we aren't here to suggest drugs for you to take; I appreciate you didn't word your question quite right but I can't see how else it could be worded in order for this thread to fit our guidelines, sorry.. please feel free to return if you have questions about specific drugs however (6-APB is best covered in Psychedelic Drugs though as there is a megathread there, and there is an ethylphenidate megathread in Other Drugs). Trip Reports is a great way to learn about drugs, as is Erowid so i suggest you have a look there :)

Closed, PM me with any queries.
