Infected Mushroom - I wish (Skazi rmx)

PLUR!

I'll second that. Great song to play as you inhale a balloon of nitrous too =D

Anyways, all the trance I have is old shit, and cheesy. So lets just get that out of the way... I'm not sophisticated and proud of it :D

Paul Oakenfold - Tranceport
my first trance CD, blew my mind. Doesn't really get old.

Griffen - You and I
Paul Van Dyke - For an Angel

gotta work on my paper, so thats my whole list for now;)

Andain - Beautiful thing (proton project remix)
Lost Tribe - Gamemaster
Solex - Close to the edge (vocal mix)
Tilt - I Dream
Yahel - Voyage
Holden & Thompson - Nothing
Tiesto - Nyana
Tiesto - Sweet mysery

Honestly there are so many

Man I love Electronic music. From Chill Out to Happy Hardcore and everything in between, there are virtually endless good tracks.

Me, I personally prefer to roll on really quick shit to start off. Something that will take my mind off the coming roll, and just rave. This is usually very high beat Hardcore, that just flows so much energy in you. As the roll is coming, you are getting a great vibe from the energy of the music.

I listen to mostly compilations, but the big names of my favorite hardcore djs are of course Scott Brown, Euphony, Brisk and Ham, Stoorm, Styles, Anabolic Frolic, ... there are so many to list. Just start listening to any hardcore set, and if you like then get into it. There is so much good stuff to discover here. Trance-core, Happy Hardcore, UK Hardcore, Breakbeat Hardcore, Gabber (which I'm not to fond of). I love this type of electronic music because it mixes all the genres into one extremely energetic flow that's normally from 150-250 bpms. Now for hardcore junkies this is no new stuff, but just letting him know. My friends didn't like the cheesy stuff at first, but it gets a lot better with listens.

Compilation DJ favorites include:
Scott Devotion
DJ Spree
DJ Cloudskipper
No Left Turn
DJ Starr
DJ Sixxx
DJ Myers
DJ Gazza

Next mix I would prefer to be Chill-out or Ambient. It relieves the energy from the Hardcore, and makes the user feel damn good. It's like a cool wind after a hot summer day.

The DJs have been mentioned here a lot: Chicane, Robert Miles, Orbital, etc.

Compilation favorite DJ's include:
DJ Tiane
DJ Rivers

Last would be Trance. What more can I say about Trance on E, that others haven't said. The jump from Ambient to Trance provides enough energy but not too much leaving the user in a complete euphoric state for the peak. Complete awesomeness.....

Favorites like everyone else said:
DJ Tiesto, Armin Van Burren, Paul Van Dyke, Above & Beyond, Thrillseekers, Blank and Jones, Ferry Corsten, Gabriel and Dresdon, Solar Stone, god that list goes on and on.

Over-all My Track selection for a perfect roll would be:
Hardcore
Ambient, Chill Out, or GOA-Psytrance
Trance
and if you really want to mix it up- GOA

Don't get me wrong I also love Breakbeat and DNB but it doesn't have as much effect on E. But maybe that's just me.

Good Roll to you sir...

oceanlab- Clear blue water( Ferry Corsten remix) ---this is the best
system f- Out of the blue
George acosta- child of the universe, angelfall
fuck the whole "awake" album by george acosta is amazing from begining to end.

Hallucinogen - The Lone Deranger

my fave track is Horrorgram. it has a bad ass intro and it completely changes the mood of the cd and gets better from there!!

RJD2 - The Horror
Shadow - Organ Donor
meh i cant think of anything else. good topic bc i prefer different shit at a house than at a party/club. u know what im sayin. creepy/weird is a plus when im chillin w/ the boys or mackin' on the bitches at the crib. cuz im hard like that : /

Okay...it's a long shot, but does anyone know the name and/or artist of a song (I've heard in clubs alot and on the radio like on Saturday nights) that 3/4 of the song has what sounds like a synthesized train whitsle? Not much to go on, but if someone has heard it, it might ring a bell. I've even e-mailed back in forth to a DJ on a local radio station before with us trying to figure it out. What a dumbass I guess, cuz at the time I was able to tell him exactly what night it was played on and he still couldn't figure it out, I ended up d/l'ing 30 damn songs that WERE NOT it.

If anyone knows...I'll love ya forever. It's been an ongoing mission for a couple of years now.

cosmic gate - the drums
cosmic gate - world in my eyes
avb - burned with desire
dj micro - penetrate

members of mayday - sonic empire
members of mayday - 10 in 01
rmb - reality
rmb - spring
rmb - land of the rising sun
rmb - experience
rmb - redemption

insane stuff, truely.
listen to 'sonic empire' while coming up, when the peak is close, continue with 'experience' and 'reality' and when the rush hour has arrived, let all these songs play in a simultaneous order.

Thanks all for the good playlists and such, I am trying to get some of these downloaded for next time I roll...

Aphex twin isn't quite trance, but they do have some insane songs to roll to. Some of their songs just send a rush of insane emotion and happiness through my body... To name the best...

Aphex twin- Flim
- vordhosbn
- hot buttered popcorn

I have a feeling this isn't what a lot of people are into, but check it out anyway... these songs always bring me way up!!!

A few years ago i downloaded some mp3s from mp3.com from an artist named Dj Mary-Jane. i haven't heard of him outside that site but there were a lot of cool semi-repetative goa style tracks. i played a mix cd of his tracks at a house party and everyone liked it.
