Over the last few months, I've gotten myself into the RC scene. So far, I've only had one order that wasn't what it was supposed to be. However, as I buy from new vendors, I feel that it's only a matter of time before I get another mix up/rip off. Marquis reactions for various RC's seem to be the most referred to, but are any of the other's particularly useful for these kinds of substances. Obviously, this would vary by substance but a general answer would be helpful. The RCs in interested in are JWHs, methoxetamine, MDAI, various tryptamines that I can get my hands on, and perhaps some cathinones in the future.

simons and robadope are of the least value as they only tell you if primary or secondary amines are present but that info can be handy at times. the 3 others marquis, mecke and mandelin in conjunction with each other can provide quite a bit of info. particularly in conjunction with theazo's Marquis/Mecke/Mandellin results for stim/empathogen/2C-X, RC's & more thread

it works out cheaper to get the full set anyway at least from eztest, so there's no reason not to get the full set really,

I would argue that Simons and Robadope are essential for testing RCs. They're the only one that you can use on a chemical for which no reference result is available.
