Heroin Best technique for snorting #4?

Are there any H snorters out there who can tell me the correct method for snorting #4 quality? Have heard before that it should be taken with a light sniff (as you would with snuff tobacco), rather than a full blown snort (as with speed/coke etc). Can anyone confirm that this is correct? Also, would it be the same when snorting other opioids like oxy?
 
I would do it with a light to medium snort, how hard you snort doesn't effect much I don't think but that's what I would do. I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter how you snort the oxy.
 
Yea I snort it lightly so it just gets up my nose. I want as little of a drip as possible. Heroin has awful oral BA and pretty good nasal BA, so its a waste if you suck it back too far. I usually snort it real light and then after that I give it one hard, but very short snort to distribute it.

I am pretty sure the same goes for coke.
 
Yeah whenever you snort any drugs and you want the nasal ba and onset from you have to keep it in your nose.

Anybody out there blowin lines like a hoover is really just eating there drugs threw there nose and will get mostly oral ba out of it.

Always have thought its funny when people snort there drugs despite not knowing how to or how it actually works.

For those who are curious search the forum for "bioavalibility". Helps to add the drugs your interested in as well.
 
You want to sniff anything lightly, whether it's speed, coke, dope, whatever. Snorting hard only sends the drugs way further up your nose than you want, and it ends up in your stomach from the drip, therefore being really ineffective.

You want it to just be at the top of your sinuses, where all the little blood vessels are in your nose, to sit there and be absorbed.

So just lightly snort little bumps or lines into each nostril, and let it do its thing.
 
Ok guys, thanks for the clarification! Never realized that it is the best way for any drug to be snorted. I guess with something like speed, which is effective orally, the drip doesn't matter too much, but something like H is useless when taken orally so all makes sense really!
