hello
I've been trying to research on the best supplements specifically for joint health. Clicked the search button but only found a thread for supplements in general. Tried googling but all i found were supplements that treat arthritis, tendonitis and such.
I'm 25 yrs old and so far I've no problems with arthritis/ rheumatism and the like but I want to make sure that my i keep my joints healthy. I have a female gym mate in her 30's that had 2 swollen knees. The doctor said that the cartilage on both her knees are worn down from too much exercising. I spin/run/dance 5 days a week for at least an hour so I got a bit paranoid about my joints and wanted to take precautions.
Daily I take vit e (400 iu), vitC (1000mg), Fish oil (2000mg) a table spoon or 2 of chia seeds and sometimes a table spoon of ground flax seeds. I read that omega 3 can help with joints but I'm not really sure if this is enough. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance
