I have family in Hawaii and visited there yearly as a child. Oahu has some of the best big wave beaches in the world. Ive boogie boarded on semi-big days in Waimea before (4-5 foot swells, translates into about 10 foot waves). There have also been days where I was like yea... no thanks.
