We usually start this thread a lit bit later, but this year I would like to extend both the nomination and voting period. You can nominate tracks for the whole of November. In the beginning of December, we will start the proper voting period.

The rules:

1 - Each person can nominate up to 7 songs

2 - Songs must have been released in 2011 (check Discogs if you want to see when a song was released)

3 - Songs must be electronic (i.e. they must contain a synthesiser at some point in the song)

4 - In order for a song to go through to the final poll, it must be nominated by at least 2 people

5 - THIS NOMINATIONS THREAD WILL CLOSE ON DECEMBER 15th, after which we will have a list of songs which will comprise the final poll (a separate thread will then be created, allowing people to vote for one of these songs)

6 - If you want to change one (or more) of your nominations, you may do so at any point up to December 7th.

Agreed, too few nominations and too few votes. Activate yourself people and start nominating! :) There's only a couple of days left.

There have been a few great albums released the last few days too, I just haven't had time to listen through them thoroughly enough to decide if I would make nomination. Maybe extend the deadline a bit levictus?

Yeah, looks like it's not going to be much of a competition. I'll probably extend the nomination period till the 15th. :\
 
I haven't listened to that much new music this year, but here's some tracks I would like to nominate:


Vince Watson - Atom - incredible deep techno!!! - those synth sounds just push all the right buttons for me :)

Samuel L. Session - Inner City Dust Part 8 - wicked techno track, with a weird synth line, and very cool use of filters

Chase & Status - Blind Faith - man I love this track!!! - it's got a real old-school rave feel to it........and the video makes me wish I was at a late-80s illegal warehouse rave :)

Mono808 - Time Flying - IDM with an incredibly psychadelic feel - sounds like Aphex Twin remixing The Beatles!!!!
