LSD for me in high doses has produced pretty amazing synaesthesia, seeing sounds, hearing colors, smelling them, tasting them. but what psychedelic research chemical would you say produces the best of this effet.

2C-E potentiated with piracetam. It causes sensory input to be one vast, terribly awe-inspiring flow.

^ I think any psychedelic can produce synaesthesia in the right conditions. I've had synaesthesia from 2C-E and 6-APB though. With 2C-E sound and vision were linked, and with 6-APB it was sound and touch.

The 2C family are good at producing synaesthesia, particularly at higher doses. Throw in an Arylcyclohexylamine such as Methoxydine (4-Meo-PCP) or Methoxetamine, and that would almost guarantee it.

nah MXE does not produce any synaesthesia. im on some L right now, music stems into beautiful and euphoric colors O_O

any other tryptamines that may do a good job? i know L does, im asking about RCs!, and i believe he was saying a 2C with mxe would cause good synaesthesia. I figured 2Cs would but tryptamines?

shrooms can procure synaesthesia, but pretty much they have all been named in the posts above me^. classical psychs and their derivatives (LSD, mushrooms, and mescaline) tend to produce synaesthesia

How many times do i have to say im asking about RESEARCH CHEMICALS! not psychs in general. I know the classics can cause synaesthesia. I'm curious about the newer, novel chemicals.

the only ones mentioned are 4-aco-dmt, the 2C's, 2Ce, and 6-APB. Then shrooms, lsd, mescaline are mentioned which are completely unrelated to the original question. Bone14 I am not being a dick, i am just trying to keep the thread i started on track with the question i am asking. I already know the classics cause synaesthesia. I don't need to know again when I'm asking about RC's. Get my drift?

2C-E with cannabis gave me incredible synaesthesia from eating meringue, as I moved the sugar around my mouth, the CEV's exploded out of the corresponding sides of my vision in waves of colour. At the same time I was also enjoying synaesthesia from listening to music.

A real shame that it came with some paranoia, dry mouth and powerful munchies, but a great experience nonetheless.

iROLL22, if you find that the classics all produce synaesthesia for you, then it's highly likely that all of the "worthwhile" research chemicals will also produce similar results. Specifically, 2C-T-7 is a highly visual and sensual experience that provides good blending of senses. I've had good experiences with 2C-I and 2C-E as well. The NBOMe versions of the 2C family seem to be right up there in richness of experience.

The simple tryptamine RCs seem to be fairly variable in their reports, with many of the 5-MeO versions having very high ratios of side effects to worthwhile effects, so many do not report them as "astoundingly visual" like the 2C-X reports. Note the curious effect of DiPT on auditory sensations.

4-HO tryptamines on the other hand seem to have a good consensus of visual activity, with good potential for synaesthesia.

That pretty much covers all the psychedelic RC's. Other research compounds that are popular on the market right now are simple stimulants that offer nothing in terms of "strange" sensations. Satisfied? :)

I've experienced your desired effect from 25i-NBOMe, DOC+Ketamine, and 2c-E/2c-I. This is a pretty odd effect of psychedelics to recognize, in my case, but those specific drugs mentioned gave me a completely immersed experience, where most of my perception is unified in regards to my senses. The doses were something like this...
25i-NBOMe = 3mg
DOC+Ketamine = 3mg+100mg
2c-E/2c-I = 30mg/60mg+

2c-E would have a very warm spot in my heart if it wasn't so damn uncomfortable for me. 2c-I and 25i-NBOMe both follow this same trend. 25i-NBOMe is the most intense psychedelic phenthylamine I have experienced at this point as far as sensory-effects are concerned, though I can't really bring myself to do it, though I could mostly blame this on not being able to experiences dosages smaller than 2-3mg, mostly because of the hassle and lengthy process it would take to find my sweet spot for it. At the same time, higher doses might make it a better chemical too. I can't say for sure, though. Before I begin rambling on way too much while simultaneously drifting off topic....yeah...those RC's might be worth investigating in (in combination, too) your quest.

ive never done it but from what i understand foxy (5-MeO-DIPT) encourages strong blending on audio/visual perception. ive experienced a little bitsof synaesthesia from higher doses of L, mushrooms, and 2C's.

From a (relatively moderately) long time of reading posts around here I would say that 2C-E seems to be associated (among) the most with synaesthesia. My own experiences with it are limited though. I'm not sure how one would go about inducing it best - maybe meditation techniques that involve concentrating on a single thing namely the sensory input you want to synaesthesize?

Apparently hypnosis can help as well:

Also definitely check this archived bluelight thread and notice the mentioning of 2C-E again plenty of times:

he said add it to a 2C, not alone

2c-e + MXE and 2c-e + 3-MeO-PCP both gave me synaesthesia. 2c-e alone can also do it but a high dose is needed
