Best or favorite way to smoke JWH drugs

Lightbulbs? Foil? In a pipe, or joint, with weed or on ash...

Now I can't seem to find any reliable chemical source that will give me the boiling (vaporization) points of either 018 or 073, but I read somewhere it is somewhere around 500°C (~1000°F) on a site that I can't find anymore...maybe that was a melting point.
Anybody qualified to answer that?

I had an idea for a heat gun but it just seemed way too excessive, lol. I saw it in a salvia thread elsewhere about, doesnt work for small powders.

Honestly, the best way is one of the most sterotypical ways %)
Take some tin foil, and make a spoon shape out of it, and put something on a counter to hold it up. Put the JWH on it. Hold a lighter under it and hold a straw above it and inhale through the straw. Works like a charm.
 
I've always just taken 018 and 073 orally. I wasn't even aware they could be smoked.
 
A real blown glass meth pipe. The kind that's small with a bulb on the end where the bowl would go in a weed pipe, but instead of a cupped bowl it's a bubble with a tiny hole on top to load with. Heat through the glass bubble from below to vaporize.
 
When I tried it I used my DMT pipe/vaporizer and it worked well. I use the VaporGenie. Better than just putting it in a bowl.
 
Smoking it traditionally has worked like a charm for me, especially among a mix of herbs. I'm trying to find the best herbal mixture to throw the JWH into, I love lavender (the leaves) though I ordered some lavender recently and they sent me only flowers, and those are harsh as hell. Do you guys have any good recommendations for what to mix it with to smooth the smoke? The mixture I had it in originally, I wasn't sure of all the ingredients.
 
The best (most efficient) way to use 018 is to vaporize it. I made a foil bowl and attached a metal pipe to it using masking tape. It's an Okie-rigged piece to be sure, but it works like a charm. I just dump a little bit of the stuff into the bowl, light from below, and inhale slowly. I've never burned the 018 this way. By vaporizing the stuff, you waste very little material. I've been taking 1-3 hits every day for many weeks now, and I've hardly made a dent in my gram.

As for herbs to mix it with, I'd say mugwort would make a nice medium. It's a smooth-smoking herb, and has very few psychoactive effects of its own. Sage would work as well, depending on the type (some are rather harsh). Coleus is another candidate.
 
I try to keep glue and tape far away from my smoking implements.
 
I placed the tape well away from the bowl, because I don't like smoking adhesives either :P

It still feels somewhat scandalous to smoke out of the thing, though...
 
When I had 018, the only herbal carrier I tried was sage, which worked well and tasted pretty good. It's a little minty. I'm sure there are smoother herbs out there though. I mostly smoked mine on ashes though with a lighter, which I now realize was quite inefficient. I probably wasted 1/4th-1/5th of it that way. Vaporizing with an oil pipe seems like it would be the most efficient way. The boiling point seems lower than 500C by my qualitative judgement. I'll let someone with more knowledge confirm that though.

That's interesting. It seems like most of the material online about them mentions the smoked ROA.
 
I usually smoke it exactly like I would smoke crack...on top of some ash and the like. I tried vaporizing and idk if I did not get the temp right, but it didn't seem to work as well for me. I also put about 15mg (073) in a capsule and ate that, and within an hour I was high. It was a better high, I thought, less intense and more mellow.
 
I used the round self-igniting charcoal made for incense... break off a little piece & put it in a ceramic tile and light it. Then take the dose of JWH that I've pre-weighed in a gel-cap and dump it into a tiny metal spoon. Wait till theres a good layer of ash on the coal, but not too long. Bring a long glass pipette up to the coal, start inhaling, then dump the powder from the spoon right onto the coal just under the glass straw. I figure that's vaporizing, not burning. One nice perfect puff of white vapor.

as for smooth smoking herbs Mullein hands down is the best carrier.
 
How would one smoke jwh powder out of a lightbulb? I know that other RC's are occasionally smoked this way. Can you reach the powder's vaporizing point with a standard Bic?

I love to put a little on the end of a cig for a nice rip.
 
i use a glass hookah tip. Its more or less like a cheap meth pipe, works like a charm though, and with less chance of burning yourself if you keep the hose attached.
 
I have found that I get somewhere from 20-30% more use of my JWH powder when I infuse it into leaves as compared to tin foil, glass stem, or just on the top of leaves.

I do this by dissolving in acetone and then mixing in the leaves. I place a screen over top and put a fan on for 15 minutes or so and then stir. Another 15 minutes and it's usually dry enough to spread out on a paper plate under a room fan or something. I mix it every now and then and it's good to go in just a couple hours. My most recent mix is 1:15 JWH:leaf and it is quite strong -- not for those with no tolerance.

One of my favorite blends is 40% mullein, 40% passionflower (has to be very high quality for it to be smooth), and 20% damiana leaf. It has a wonderful aftertaste with a similar "funk" to marijuana. I ran out of mullein recently and tried 40% marshmallow leaf, 40% passionflower, and 20% damiana. A tad more harsh but very good. I strongly recommend both mullein and marshmallow leaf for its very weed-like consistency. Nice and fluffy but "packable" into bowls and such. Mullein is more work to sort out stems, and has a long history of smoking/tea use for lung/coughing/respiratory problems. I can definitely attest to it being an expectorant, similar to weed, and making me cough up phlegm (nice to get it out!).

edit: Oh. I forgot to mention. A blend can go from horribly harsh and nasty to a wonderfully smooth smoke by just a small (10 percent) addition of another leaf. You have to really trial and error it to get a good blend. I also strongly recommend putting your final blend into a colander or window-screen sized netting. Tossing it around for 20-30 seconds or so will get out a lot of very small particulate matter, and can turn a blend from harsh to incredible.

Strange, I never took them orally, always assumed they had to be smoked (because a friend of mine didnt feel too great after some oral jwh 073). Anyway, thats the only one I have experience with, and it works VERY well if you just sprinkle a couple mg on some bud, and those first couple hits will be pretty much all JWH, and mixed with the bud its very powerful.

I have found that I get somewhere from 20-30% more use of my JWH powder when I infuse it into leaves as compared to tin foil, glass stem, or just on the top of leaves.

Why not just throw it on top of a small amount of weed or tobacco? Sounds alot more pleasant than leaves/grass *shrug*
