Best Opiate/Opiod Orally?

Im taking a wild guess since i have no knowledge or much experience I'd say yes

im not sure about morphine sulfate, but morphine HCL is definitely effective orally. Of course, it is much better snorted, but pretty damn good swallowed
 
Yeah, Morphine Sulphate's pretty good orally. At least, I think it's pretty good orally. I just sat there all good and shit and could barely keep my eyes open. Again, this is what I think of it.
 
The oral ingestion of morphine, which is different from snorting it, is not an ideal route of adminstration for euphoria, though it works pretty good for analgesic purposes.

Actually, this is not entirely correct. The analgesic properties of morphine are substantially weakened through oral administration too.
It has to do with the fact that when ingested morphine passes rapidly through the liver after absorption where it is destroyed, losing much of its potency.
Does this mean you can't get high eating it? Of course not. My point is simply that approximately half of your standard oral dose will work insufflated (YMMV), and probably a quarter IM and a sixth IV will have the same effects, so therefore it is not an IDEAL choice for oral consumption.

No sweating going on here anymore, dj. I calmed down. Yep, it certainly isn't even close to as good down your throat as it is railed, but it's still alright, providing you eat enough. I'm sure everyone will agree there. Of course, MS isn't, after some recent testing and consideration, as good as oxycodone railed or swallowed. Sorry for the earlier stupid-assed replies by me. I thought morphine sulfate was good oraly. 100mg administered orally felt like (once the full effects set in) felt like 80mg of oxycodone snorted. Maybe I am wierd i dont know.
