best on stage music performer??

It's pretty gay, but I used to love going to see Enter Shikari before they released their album. Chinup spoke about the human pyramids, and that's probably one of my favourite things to get involved in at a gig. I also used to like it when 200 people would run around in a big circle until the drop, then rush the center and beat the shit out of each other. The bled were really good for all out carnage.

I believe, without wishing to further an old dispute what was meant was the term Geigh not Gay, it was a widely used term a while back round my neck of the woods, I though it summed quite a few things up very well, in many ways it dispelled the stereo type Gay image of some mincing Mr Humphries etc.

in answer to the actual question hardly a surprise answer from me. although I've never been a big gig goer.

John Lydon all the way

Pretty Vacant Sex Pistols

Public Image: Careering

The guy just means every word, don't mention the butter adverts please;) I'll have to crack out the cholpromazine

I remember going to the 1987 DefJam while living in Germany.
Public Enemy and LL Cool J were on top form.
Public Enemy had kinda a whole Black Panther military vibe and look going on and the energy on stage and in the crowd was fantastic for such a small venue.

Yes it was a great gig, still got my ticket.
Can't say the same about The Fat Boys gig, what possessed us to go and see them I will never know.

i kinda wish i had been around through the early 80's not being born till 87 i feel like iv kinda missed out on alot of the great groundbreaking stuff :( youtube has had to become my best friend but with help from 'cid i almost feel like im there! ;)

If you'd missed out the word music I would have had King Kurt right up there, they never used to have a support band instead they did a stage show before the gig proper that always involved force feeding people snake bite in some form or another. The best being DR Smeg's wheel of misfortune, I can't find any video evidence and its probably for the best ;)

Ah, well if it's not just bands we've actually seen I'd have to concur with Lydon and throw Ziggy and Thin White Duke-era Bowie into the hat

oh, and the Beatles in the early Hamburg-era days too, and Jagger was none too shabby on stage either

Seen so many bands but allways been to fucked to really know whats gone on. Mr mrs is the muszo when i get home I'll ask her who she/we thought was good.
See the kills very recent and thought they were the bollocks , don't give a fuck hes married to thet
Moss cunt, but the sexual tension between Jamie and Alison was fucking hot.
I didn't see any of this but my very good mate ( rotten ) said Kate got very very pissed off , and fucked off.

The loudest gig iv ever been to was muse , I couldn't hear right for 4 days after, and the gig Was pritty fucking special.

Did you know that it's one of their dads that is dressed as the clown? lol

No way! Thats mad.

I remember candyflippin durin a Chem Bros set at festival years ago. The clown morphed into an image Jesus Christ (that was definately real) but then the image of Jesus morphed into a picture of me! There i was, dancin away, trippin ballz, lookin at myself on the big screen. I remember turning to my friend, pointing & shouting... "look it's me!, i'm on the big screen". I wasn't really ofcourse. <3 candyflippin!

Aye A4B I saw Prodigy at Rockness candyflipping on liquid acid, a pill and meph when it was legal. Immense feeling the atmosphere was just incredible.

Most of the bands I've seen like Babyshambles and Happy Mondays were piss poor live. Glad I saw Oasis just before they split in AECC.

I saw Oasis when they were good. Loch Lomond, Barrowlands, Shepperd's Bush Empire, a few other places. I used to love a bit of Oasis. Cannae hack the cunts now, although the first album is still dynamite.

I threw half a pint of Red Stripe at that Appleton bird & Paul Weller in Shepperd's Bush. True story lol.

I see oasis at loch CRACKHEAD , both nights me and my pal turkey ( he's called turkey cause he ain't a chicken ? ) flew up from stansted to Glasgow , and stayed in a b&b ,fucking pucker weekend , on the saterday night ended up in a party in some mad place called kevin/ kelvin ?
We might as well have been in Moscow , we couldn't understand them , and that didn't have a fucking clue what we were goin on about.
But the universal language of drugs got us through.
I remember standing on the banks of the loch pill'ed and coke'd up listening to them playing nearly crying at how happy iwas. ( soppy cunt )
