Best movie about a video game ever created!

i havent seen any of them, but i like mario and such... and i watched their stupid tv show... so yeah. super mario bros.
 
tomb raider and resident evil. I used to have a huge crush on milla when I was a kid.

Pac Man? A ravers dream .... someone running around in a darkened room, munchin pills to repetitive electronic music lol.... yea yea yea i know, an old shirt that i still have.
 
final fantasy: spirits within has nothing to do with video games except square used the title to get more ppl to see that lame movie. they went way way over budget and sony had to come buy up part of them so they wouldnt go bankrupt. square spent over 120 mil just making that movie alone. now sony owns around 20% of their asses.
 
^ Havn't played any of the final fantas games but it was a good movie...

My vote goes with Resident Evil... Although it was a fairly crap movie and would have been a lot better if it followed the story of the games closer...
 
the wizard, although it was a good movie, was not made from a video game (i.e., mortal kombat, street fighter, resident evil).

i liked MK and Res. Evil.

i wish they would make a movie about the original Legend of Zelda for the NES.

or Dragon Warrior.

or Faxanadu.

or Ninja Gaiden.

Wizard was too, but it wasn't about a video game, it was about many of them like Super Mario Bros. 3 and Double Dragon.

a zelda movie if done properly would be awesome, as a ninja gaiden movie. but I feel we need more ninja movies, I miss the ol days of 80 ninja flicks,

as far as already made, even though it is rather cheesy I have a place in my heart from mortal kombat but thats just me

i believe that it was tron the movie then tron the video game, though. TRON is the last Good Thing i can remember disney being involved with.

the wizard, hands down.

i've loved kevin arnold since the wonder years, and this movie came out close to the height of my nintendo-crazed youth: mario 3 was like the best thing ever at the time. captured the excitement of video game obsession perfectly, i thought :)
 
If you like Ninja kid movies, this one is way better than 3 Ninjas.

I might be mistaken, but one of the gaming mags said that they're making a movie based actually on the FF game. If that is true, Imma flip.
