I doubt anyone knows my fav's but its Drumma Boy, Zatoven, shawty redd, and some down south rap hahahaha
 
Without reading the whole thread i am sure i will be repeating what most have said but for total hip hop classics it has to be premier and pete rock, the consistency and how prolific they are put them in a class of their own

Blockheads production on Daylight is about as beautiful as hip hop will ever get

Edan is a creative genious, if he ever releases an album again this life time and its half as good as beauty and the beat, well he will be in a catergory of his own
El-P has a great concept of music and i predict he has a classic masterpiece, not specifically hip hop up his sleeve

The love for Dilla is a bit much, he made some great music but in my opinion its not next level shit, although with donuts he seemed like he was getting there, r.i.p
 
ok now since reading this thread i have realised, music sites for music, blulight to find out if i am about to consume a lethal drug combination

I thought this site was about harm reduction, the love for Kanye makes me think otherwise

Madlib is way overrated imo

actually that's not true, most people dont even know who he is

he made some borderline pop music for a bit but honestly anyone who's made any substantial amounts of money through rap music has done that

he also made plenty of catchy ass instrumentals for a number of other successful rappers

Jay Z isnt big without Kanye, Kanye isnt big without Jay Z, it was mutual.
