I actually don't like Ant. I feel almost as if he keeps me from enjoying Atmosphere, because I think Slug is good but the production is often off. He's definitely produced some great stuff, but I don't like a large portion of his work for some reason. I think his style worked better with Brother Ali on Shadows on the Sun then on most Atmosphere stuff.

Generic as in appealing to a general audience. Maybe the wrong use of the word?

I mean being a mainstream artist doesn't automatically make him shit, it's just there's so many top-class producers that are slept on in their shadows it makes me wanna periodically defecate on the C.E.Os of big music corporations.

It sounds shite and is skill-less. It's just a dull, uncreative way to shift volumes to the drones.

lyrically kanye is (usually) wack, i'll give you that. he's especially full of himself recently. fwiw i think his new album is terrible.

but as a whole, it's hard for you to come off like this hip-hop god when ur so intolerant

i've heard it all before, and ime what stands the test of time is not the lyrics but the music.
