Hey Brimz, how was food in Portugal? I went recently and while it was OK I felt a bit let down compared to Spain. We spent ages looking for nice little places off the beaten track but never came up with anything that memorable, possibly we were in the wrong areas but it wasn't for want of looking.

BOLLOX! We were in Estoril, wicked beaches and that but hard to get good munch. One evening in Cascais I caught a whiff of the most amazing grilled meat and was wandering around the backstreets like a Bisto kid. Eventually it turned out to be someone's BBQ.

That night we ended up in a tiny little place well off the track and full of local people and connected to the local fisherman's union or something but it was still not amazing. I think we were just unlucky.
