Best comedown tips?

1) Weed.
2) Sleep.
3) Repeat steps 1 and 2 as needed.

Occasionally I'll take a supplement of melatonin and/or valerian just to make sure I'm not waking up every two hours.

A lot of people I know seem to almost work themselves into comedowns, convinced that because they have done drugs, in a certain amount of time there gunna feel awfull. This is right on..I learned a long time ago that if you think about the fact that your coming down, or even acnknowledge it..it will be 100% worse..I do all the things I do as an end to a good night, and usually I don't think of it as a painful comedown, just a leveling out.
 
if ur still in the club and ur coming down fast, start dancing, just dance hard, makes it much more gradual, and then u start thinking about how much of a good night u just had.
 
soda water or a fizzy drink that makes you burp heaps....

always works for me, makes me feel like im cleaning all the crap out that i put in my stomach...
 
the best way is to take a xanax (or two) and get right into the shower, hot and steamy..by the time you get out, the xanax is just starting to come on, then curl up on the couch in an oversized long sleeve shirt with pajama pants (turn the air up if it's too hot), grab a snack (xanax makes me hungry), pop in a movie and slowly drift into bliss.... :)
 
A lot of these comedown tips are really great. Oddly enough, I've never showered while coming down. Just out of personal experience, I've found that having sex is the best way to come down. Of course, it has to be with someone I'm seeing at the time and feel really comfortable with, not just some random person! But my senses are still heightened, and it helps me to get rid of that excess energy from rolling. And then you just cuddle up and drift off to sleep with a big smile on your face. I have a hard time being alone the next day... I definitely tend to want to be around people, so the whole falling asleep with someone and waking up with them is really nice.
But then again, the whole mind-blowing sex, happy cuddly sleep thing is always great..... ;)
 
i agree, being around ppl is good... esp for snuggles.
melatonin for sleep is also good.
 
Eat. Don't have to have big meals but something small regularly is good.

Sleep. Very important.

I don't get bad comedowns usually. I felt a bit iffy on my last one but I'd pushed my limit a few days befire,

Bang on. Get into bed, lie there not trying to think of anything (try to ignore the CEVs and any music you hear) and I usually am out cold within 30 minutes.
Problem then is I have a "get up at 8am" body clock so I only sleep 3 hours :( I don't fancy puttig Benzos into the mix. I might try sme temazepam with speed next week but E I don't have a problem with.

Really? I've not had the oppurtunity. I've had sex on E and thats fucking amazing! Shame my current gf isn't a drug person (never even seen/been asked for any/been offered) :( Hopefully I'll find out one day......
 
I usually have no problem getting to sleep after a night on E.

Then again, I generally feel a bit nauseous after a night on E and am quite keen to nod off.
 
Sleep. Water. Maybe a soda if I'm completely tired to teh point I can't sleep. And from there doing something to keep my mind occupied on something I enjoy. Only twice have I felt an emotional dip on E, once was the week and a half depression from serious overuse, and once was just a fluke and was very minor anyways.

The key is get some rest and do something you enjoy. Get your mind on something that makes you happy and what seritonin you have left will be kicked into operating with some sense of efficiency and you will be distracted from any emotional down.
 
20mg Prozac
100mg 5-htp
Multivitamin/Antioxidant pill
750mg N-Acetyl Cysteine
8 oz juice
Change of clothes
Ambient Music(such as aphex twin)
Opium Tea(preferably)/30mg percs/noseful of oxy(choose only one of course)


You will sleep like a log and wake up the best feeling in your life.
 
i would like to point out that Aphex Twin does mainly IDM, however he has released a couple Ambient albums.

best comedown tip? snuggling with somebody you care deeply for *sigh*

4. clean clothes, especially clean socks
5. eat something small
6. vitamins
7. flip through channels or get online
8. when you do lay down for sleeping don't think about anything, just focus on your breathing, that always helps me fall right to sleep.

I use to get the worst comedowns… The worst…

My first couple times were so bad that I did not eat for the next couple days afterwards and I had a constant headache + stomach pains. Since then I’ve come up with a few things I do every time I start coming down.

Last weekend after 3 strong pills and did not have much of a comedown.


Drink a lot of Gatorade whenever you get back from the club (always do this)

Smoke some weed (I only do this sometimes)

Multi-vit + Melitonin (yummmmmy)

Sleep with someone, don’t fuck, just sleep. It helps so much to just lie next to someone in bed.

These should help you fall asleep and when you wake up it’s pretty easy to beat that dead/cracked out next day feeling:

Always spend the next day hanging out with the people you rolled with. I honestly have no idea why, but this always helps. Being alone just sucks, and when around people you can relate / talk to, it makes the deadness go away so much easier.

Get a massage. This will save you.

Drink OJ all day and by night time, since you slept most of the day, shove some food down your throat. Usually after this I am ready to go out and see a movie or something simple.

The next morning you’ll be 100%

Other than that I like to put on some really mellow ambient, while smoking pot, then I do a couple of bong hits, then a nice turkish joint, followed by some grass, hooch, mary jane, dope, chronic, cabbage, trees, well you get the idea,,,, then finally sleep.

Most of the ideas here are great.

Sex =D Very nice if your guy is up for it.
K - can be really cool, esp with MDA.
Pot is great with MDA as well. Very trippy.

Then the required post loads, 5-HTP, C & E, a little bit of food.
When I wake up, Coffee, then I take my adderall for my narcolepsy. Weeee.

Sometimes a percocet or vicoden can really help me get through a rough day as well.

Ahh the modern miracles of medicine...
