Dozens of children have suffered serious adverse reactions after receiving the flu vaccine in WA.

The Health Department has suspended the free flu vaccination program for children under five after a spike in admissions to Princess Margaret Hospital.

The department says dozens of otherwise healthy children have suffered fever, vomiting and febrile convulsions hours after receiving the vaccination.

And it ain't cherry picking when one posts the warnings put on the product info by the manufacturer. Actually safe vaccines wouldn't need such damning sentences. :D

There is no such thing as a 100% safe vaccine for 100% of people. This should be clear.

Moreover, your article is really accurate by using the term 'dozens'. AKA sensationalist journalism. Did they get the nasal spray or an injection? How many children were actually vaccinated and had no adverse reaction? What did flu rates look like in Australia, how many deaths were there, and how many hospitalizations?

Children are more likely to get the flu or have flu-related complications because their immune systems are still developing. A recent CDC study shows that treating children with the flu can be costly. Each year in the U.S. an average of 20,000 children under the age of 5 are hospitalized for flu-related complications. During the 2011-12 flu season, 26 deaths in children were reported to CDC. Severe flu-related complications are most common in children younger than 2. Young children, 6 months to 5 years, are at risk of febrile seizures. Children with chronic health conditions such as asthma and diabetes have an extremely high risk of developing serious flu-related complications.

So dozens of children DIED in the US because of the flu from 2011-2012, and many thousands more were hospitalized due to complications. Moreover, children in risk groups face substantially more threatening complications.

It is cherry picking because they had to write that without any context as to the fact that such studies for a specific flu vaccine generation (e.g.2013-2014) are IMPOSSIBLE TO CONDUCT DUE TO TIME CONSTRAINTS before the vaccine hits the shelves.

Hey JM16, how about instead of focusing on potential and possible harm caused by vaccines you actually look at the numbers for people who have been killed or irreversibly damaged by the illnesses against which the vaccines protect us. I know you don't value such honesty, but maybe you would start to realize how foolish you sound by railing against vaccines.

Here is why the Rabbit, a guy who refused to allow HIS daughters to get the HPV vaccine, is going to punish anyone who doesn't get their children vaccinated...

So I am curious... Can ANYONE explain to me just how vaccinated children are at risk by going to a place where unvaccinated children are? Near as I can tell, there is ONLY one possible explanation - vaccinated children are as much at risk (or more so if you look at whooping cough in Utah and a couple of other places where only the vaccinated are getting it) as unvaccinated.

In which case, why bother getting the vaccinations?

There's a rather pathetic accusation against the unvaccinated doing the rounds - apparently a 4 week old child died back in 2009 and apparently the parents are blaming the unvaccinated.

Think it through...

4 weeks old. What unvaccinated children could that baby have been exposed to? Just where did the baby get the illness? Hospital? Parents? How many children does a 4 week old get to play with?

Or is this yet another MSM manipulation to make you all race out and get your children given injections that are proving more unrelaible the closer we look?
