Hi, does anyone have any feedback on a good quality brand of Syringe?:)

I currantly use the BD-Ultra Fine 30GA 1cc needle, but it's too thin for IVing midazolam pills and 1cc is not enough volume for the liquid. I want to get at least a 28GA 3cc or something like that - I just really need to know the best brand to buy.

Thanx

I IV Heroin and I use 31G 1/2 CC's and it's perfect for IVing tar. You really don't want to use that much liquid and I enjoy having the really fine needles they allow me to hit small veins and leave virtually no track marks. Besides that i'm clueless becaus ethe only other thing I IV is Dilaudid.

You're not going to find pre-assembled 3cc sizes with 28g or smaller needles. You'll have to order the barrels and the tips separately. For doing this, Terumo would be your best bet.

Thanks for telling me that. I read somewhere else that Terumo was a good brand, but couldn't find a 28ga needle with a 3cc barrel. So unless I use a normal 1cc 28ga by BD, I'll have to buy the needles and barrels separately - and that will probably be a little pricey but worth it.

i've always favoured terumo's over BD and the retractable brands. the plunger on the terumo's seem to glide so smoothly where as on the BD i've felt that they were stiffer and didnt glide as well - i've literally bent the plunger from pushing it and getting stuck.

if i remember correctly the 3mL needles i used were terumo and they had the interchangeable tips so you didnt have to rip up your arms with a large guaged needle tip.

search around on the web and you will find a few different types of sets. it all comes down to what you prefer to use. like JC said some like terumo's, some like BD - it comes down to the user.

Walgreens brand! 1cc, 31guage short needle

I've used BD too, and have honesty not noticed anything different at all except a pack of 10 BD syringes costing 1 dollar extra.

I also buy the walgreens alcohol pads with benzocaine, not like the pain is anything bad at all, but with the benzocaine I pretty much barely even feel the needle going in.

Alcohol pads should definitely be used by more junkies, they reduce track marks too!

bd is best. i ask for 1/2 inch ultrafine 1cc. i second walgreens tho theyre decent. tumerol i gotsta try cuz they sound bomb frum what ppl say EDIT: second alcohol pads too!

I love my BD alcohol pads.

i really don't know if those are it.. but they're the ones with the neat caps that are rounded, almost.

that's interesting, though.. like i said, they haven't given me ANY issues and i scar easy as shit. maybe there's another kind?
