best brand of multi-vits minerals?

I think that's more of a personal preference/opinion. I personally prefer a product called Beyond Chelation Improved. Comes in a tub of 30 packs of nine tabs/caps. Complete vitamin coverage, heart health, and chelation agents to help remove heavy metals from the body.

I also use Gary Null's products, but they're on the expensive side.

Best bang for the buck. Committement to quality. Research and innovation. Commitment to giving some back. Selection.

JARROW FORMULAS!%)

No I'm not a rep. I have sold vitamins retail for almost 20 years though.

Centrum are notorious for not being bioavaliable and thus worthless. I use GNC megamen vitamins because they are the shit. You feel flustered and dizzy for a few minutes and then you feel 'high' for hours.

Agreed. Im sure there are hundreds of quality brands. Maybe even more!
I buy most of my stuff from wal mart or rite aid. My mom is a member of
vitamin worlds special discount club..at the first of the month she goes and buys all of her supplements and gets a big discount. Something like that would be good for anyone who takes a lot of stuff. Im sure a lot of stores/websites have that kind of thing. :)

I also use Puritans Pride www.PuritansPride.com brand for some, as they're really inexpensive and have good sales every month--buy 1 get 2, buy 1 get 3, buy 2 get 5, etc. I don't use them for everything, but I use them for stuff like vitamin c which I take loads of.

I don't know anything about not being bioavailable, most likely they are as much as USPC grade vits are used in most supps. They sure are low potency though. Figure it out by potency and they are very expensive.

I don't know how good multivits can be if they make you feel "dizzy" and "flustered" for a few minutes and then "high."

And I am having trouble understanding what your post is saying URB4UR. :(

What do you mean potency?

Do you get a smaller source of vitamins/nutrients from the Centrum multivit?

Yes-you sure do. Compare the labels--you get more bang for your buck using other brands.

Look at how many mg.s of each vit in Centrum. Not much.

Look at lets say a Solgar vit that sells for more $$

But when you compare the potency =milligrams, the Centrum comes out way more expensive.

Get it.:)

I tried to find a source on the centrum thing for about 5 mins and decided it wasn't worth my time. I retract my centrum statement but I had heard there was a story on the news about it a few months back from more than one person. Sexyanon: I think they only make me feel flustered and dizzy because they are so damn potent and there is so many things in them. They are time release but that doesn't mean that they aren't still a rush. The niacin in them turns me beat red and they sort of burn my stomach if it is empty or if I take two. But I can't think of too many other vitamins I've heard of that you can actually feel an immediate difference in mood and health.

I belive that Life Extension Foundation's are among the best, but also most expensive. I personally used Puritans for many years, but switched to NOW Foods ADAM Superior males multi. I found it to be the best balance of quality/stuff i want in/price.

Any opinions on liquid multi vitamins? Is there any truth that they are absorbed better than tablets?

Most likely not. Unless you have real digestion problems. absorbtion would be a little faster though. Natures Plus makes one of the best that I have seen.
