Best Blazing Movies: Finalists

Omg. Yellow submarine, when I first got hash (was some QUALITY hash too) I downloaded that movie and blazed like 3 grams of hash (my first time ever and it was niiice stuff) I was passing out and tripping out on this amazing movie : >

BUt eh, what's with pinnaple express, is it really that good of a movie? I havn't seen it and not sure if I ever plan on it, seems sort of like it gives stoners a bad name, kinda movie where they would look at their hands and go "wooooow"...... Maybe i'm mistaken but it probably is like that

i'd say fear and loathing is a lot better sober than high.

Pulp Fiction and the majority of the Cohen brother movies are great high. Though once my friend and I had to turn Pulp Fiction off whilst on acid, too damn violent. Super troopers and Office Space are winners. A really great movie to get sucked into while really high or lightly tripping is Full Metal Jacket, just be ready for an emotional roller-coaster if you are tripping.
 
i like barton fink / i see a whol;e bunch of meaningless symbolism thruout the whole movie
 
Movies to chill with: Half Baked. Super Troopers is an excellent one too but I saw that you mentioned that.

Dark movies: A Scanner Darkly (If you know people who are addicted to stimulants it can be depressing to watch, since that's what PKD-Philip K. Dick based it on), 187, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, and Brokeback Mountain.

Movies to Learn from: What the bleep do we know? Joe Gage porns.
 
I second alpha dog and southland tales. Of course Donnie Darko is a modern masterpiece and great for blazing. I personally love sci-fi movies while high...such as Serenity, Sunshine, etc. My favorite director in the comedy category is Wes Anderson, and not just becasue he's from H-town also.

^I was just going to add that to the list. I finally got around to watching it on the tail end of a 4-ho-dpt trip and it was amazing. Different than I expected but better at the same time.

Also Wristcutters- a love story. Amusing plot and the Gogol Bordello soundtrack didnt hurt:)
 
^I just saw it the other day also on the tail end of a small amount of blotter (like .25 of a tab)

It was definitely amazing. I really enjoyed it a lot. The acting, cast, story, cinematography; all exceeded my expectations. It's even crazier that it's a true story.

I loved that movie.

I thought it was some kind of chick flick before someone told me how awesome it was. Man, I was so fuckin' wrong about that movie.
 
I have to really enjoy a movie to watch it baked or I have to be very stoned and couchlocked on an Indica to watch an entire movie while high.

I liked the movies 187, Vanilla sky, half baked, one of the Substitute movies I think it was the 1st or 2nd, the evil dead movies, Aliens, Dawn of the dead/various other zombie movies, fight club, and suicide kings were all very entertaining while very very stoned. I watched all of these either alone or with friends.

Sometimes I've tried watching movies while alone and high and I get bored from them and turn them off in the middle and just watch them later.

I watched Half baked on 1.5g dried mushrooms and it was funny!

Half baked ( funny not accurate) and Dont be a menace in south central while drinking your juice in the hood. Awsome movie
