Best benzodiazepine to enjoy Tramadol

Which benzo would you guys recommend to get the best chill out from 500mg of Tramadol?
I was thinking on Bromazepam, but again, Alprazolam and its SSRI properties are nice... what would you do? aside from Carisoprodol please.
 
Since high dose tramadol puts you at risk for seizures, you want a benzodiazepine which is most commonly prescribed to people to treat seizures. You also probably want to make sure that you know how long the benzo lasts, and redose on it before it wears off. Coming down off of a benzo while still on tramadol might put you at an even higher risk of seizure.
 
Carisoprodol (soma) is not a benzodiazepine and in fact can cause seizures since it lowers the seizure threshold. So that would be a no no.

I agree with coolio a benzo with strong anti-convulsant properties and thats fairly long acting would be the best idea. Alprazolam would be a bad idea since it's so short acting and doesent have much if any anti-convulsant properties. In my opinion clonazepam would be the best one because it's a strong anti-convulsant and is long acting. Valium would also be a good option and lorazepam would be ok too though it's not as long acting so you would need to redose. Clorazepate would be another option.
 
That it is a very high dose of Tramadol. High potential for seizures. I'd suggest a potent benzodiazepine with potent anti-convulsant properties. Clonazepam would be my suggestion. In fact, in the PDR: Klonopin is used alone or along with other medications to treat convulsive disorders such as epilepsy. Its listed as one of the most common drugs prescribed for seizure disorders.

Why take such a high dose of Tramadol? If your going to take a high recreational dose, how about 350-400mg? I find doses above 350mg undesirable, but that's just me.
 
I don't feel anything at all from even 500mg of tramadol. I had to take it to 1000mg and 1500mg to find it recreational.

I have a high natural tolerance to opioids, but use them very rarely. I will IV two bags of heroin that an average person only needs one of. I also require extremely high kratom doses, like 25 to 35 grams instead of 5 to 15.

However, I honestly couldn't feel ANYTHING from 50mg, 100mg, 200mg, or 500mg of tramadol. I can feel (it's not euphoric at this level though) as little as 5mg oral hydrocodone easily...

By the time I reached 1000mg and 1500mg doses of tramadol, it started feeling like an 18 hour long 10mg hydrocodone high.
 
I find the best way to enjoy tramadol is to take 2 x 100mg slow release tablets then 4 x 50mg instant release tablets over the course of the day. I usually take 10mg of Diazepam or 2mg of Clonazepam at the same time as the SR's to cut down the seizure risk. It gives me a nice warm happy buzz all day =D
 
Alprazolam, Diazepam, or Clonazepam. I reccomend the diaz, since it has most of the euphoric factor. Xan might be too short-lasting to match with tramadol. Clonaz would be fine as well.
 
i find diazepam good. clonazepam raises the seizure threshold so it is good to take if youre using higher doses of tramadol. seizures have been reported from anywhere from 400mg with some people. all depends on the person.
 
^ Actually seizures have been reported anywhere from 50mg's. But that's mostly with people that already have low seizure thresholds.

Then I'd discontinue using the Tramadol. One of your massive dosing will eventually put you into a seizure and if you survive you will be at risk of suffering seizures your entire life. Tramadol has obviously lost its magic so quit taking such dangerous doses. You DON'T HAVE A NATURAL TOLERANCE TO OPIATES if 5mg oral Hydrocodone will get you high, maybe only particular opioids. Take 10mg Hydrocodone four times a day so that you can have your 18 hour Hydrocodone high. I'd never recommend taking more of an addictive drug but it already sounds as if you have become dependent upon opiates if 200mg of Heroin IV is needed for you to catch an opiate high. Its also physically safer than taking 1500mg of Tramadol.

Side note, how do you know what the average person needs to get high from Heroin? You mentioned 100mg of intravenous Heroin won't get you high but 5mg of oral Hydrocodone will? Thats hard for me to believe, but I'm not calling you a liar. Just amazed
 
^ I recall delphinen being on tramadol and other meds for a really long time, and a gram of tram was like his usual daily dose.
 
People have suffered seizures from people taking Tramadol within the recommended dosage range. Seizure risk is increased with doses above the recommended range, espcially when taken long term. Concomitant use of tramadol hydrochloride increases the seizure risk if your taking an SSRI antidepressant. The combination of Tramadol and SSRI medications may also possibly produce Serotonin Syndrome so I hope you don't take the combination of the two.
 
yeah seizure threshold definitely depends on the person... not really an easy way to find out though. i used to be scared to exceed 200mg, but have since gone past that.

crazy to hear of people using over 1000g...
 
just had 200mg 5 hours ago....at 1pm....its now 6pm....light nausea feeling but feeling very light headed and content.

wonder how long this feeling will last. its my first time:)
 
usually the initial high feeling fades after a few more hours. many people i know get nauseated during, but usually after the initial high.
