Depends mostly on how long you want to crash. Some benzos last longer than others, though I'm not sure which is which. Xanax wears off quickly for me while etizolam lasts longer.
**you dont need to snort benzos, they have a very high BA orally, and xanax kicks in on an empty stomach within 5-10mins (roughly the same as snorting), all snorting benzos does, is it leaks from ur nostril down ur throat to ur stomach.
I have recently been doing some research about using Benzodiazepines to go to sleep after an amphetamine binge.
Most of the threads I found are rather old, so I wanted to make a new one, and also open it up to all drugs, not just stimulants.
What do you think is the best Benzodiazepine to be used for the purpose of helping you fall asleep after having done drugs that are known to make it difficult to sleep? Stimulants are obviously the most notorious for this, but I believe any MDMA-like or psychedelic drug also has this effect on the user.
When I was in rehab, they'd give us Chloral Hydrate for sleep...and that shit knocked me right out. I would definitely recommend it.
(But when I'm at home, I take 125 mgs of benedryl and that works pretty well)
Temazepam+zopiclone is a great combo to make you crash out and so is temazepam+Valium. Though i would recommend cutting back on your normal doses of both unless your tolerance to benzos is rather high. Throwing doxylamine, hydroxyzine or diphenhydramine in the mix will add to the sedating by quite abit as well.
How was the Chloral Hydrate is terms of euphoria if there was any? It is technically still available here in Canada in both syrup and capsule form but i have never heard of anyone getting that stuff prescribed here in my lifetime anyway.
Diphenhydramine isn't going to do shit for any moderate to high dose of a strong stimulant. Especially if you are just starting to come down. You will never get to sleep, diphenhydramine is just going to cause it to be even harder to fall asleep.
Tends to worsen anxiety on stimulant comedowns and can also cause respiratory depression. High doses are not recommend. You're just going to become delirious.
Any standard benzo is your best bet, other than seroquel which will definitely knock you out. I have a regular prescription for Diazepam and when I do use stimulants (fairly often) it's my only way to get to sleep when I know I otherwise wouldn't be able too. Get's rid of most of my anxiety, making me feel 100x better. I don't however get high from it, regardless of the dosage really. Just less of my heart pounding out of my chest feeling.
Unfortunately I've had to rough quite a few comedowns the past couple weeks, as I've been out of Diazepam. The worst have been from 60mg of Methylphenidate, plugged.

good job recommending something you A: probably never tried, B: probably know nothing about, C: has more potential to cause addiction than most drugs people go into rehab for, D: is just as or more toxic than ethanol, and E: has next to no clinical trials in favor of it relative to other drugs which work better
