I would recommend a heavy dose of benzos for a trip gone outta control.

Antipsychotics are horrible drugs, 1-3mg of xanax will end any bad trip and not leave you feeling fucked up for days.

anti-psychotics should only be used if the person under the influence is threatening physical harm to self or others. The side effects of the anti-psychotics can be very agonizing, hence should only be used when something is getting way out of hand. Benzos are the right choice if someone is to far stuck in a negative zone. Though, talking through the bad trip is the best way to get out of it.

I donno if its so smart to suggest that someone tripping balls gets zonked the fuck out on benzos.....


I mean, it all depends on the situation. Sometimes having a raving nut on hands is safer and easier to deal with than having a raving nut whos eaten a couple bars of xannax....

Thats why benzos are only used IMO in extreme cases to ease the anxiety of a bad trip, or to help ease the muscles. I really couldn't see someone getting into a typical benzo non-lethal OD while on a psychedelic. I imagine even taking a bar for a non tolerant user will just settle the anxiety out and maybe allow him to trip into a semi-conscious state.

I've heard about mirtazapine being a solid option to stop an L trip - not that I have literature or personal experience to back it up. Oddly enough I have both drugs on hand, but would never cut my time with Lucy short
