Opioids Best anti-histomines to potentiate codeine at 400mg

Ok so really I need to know, for a prospective dose in codeine at 400mg, whether it would be preferable to have the doxylamine (at some lower dose?) or to have the Cetirizine.

Question reduces essentially to this question; viz., whether the "itching" specifically would be better treated wth doxylamine or with Cetirizine.

You can safely take both. I'm not sure which one is more effective for itching, but suspect Cetirizine might be. It's long lasting and non-sedative. Doxylamine, however, adds nice subtle euphoric sedation with opiates at normal therapeutic doses.

Doxylamie is very sedating, ceterizine is a good choice.

Closing this thanks to the nonsensical first post. That, and it's mostly personal preference and has been discussed before.
