Sorry but sanders is a sellout.
Indeed, he raised more money from small individual donations than anyone in history, took very little big money and had no superPAC.
the sellout

Exactly; it's very encouraging considering how apparently dormant (or successfully repressed/ignored/infiltrated) the American left have been for the last few decadesSanders is just an incarnation of the stirring left, I'm sure he knew from the beginning he wasn't going to win, he might even be surprised he made it as far as he did. But the more left leaning portion of the country is starting to show signs of life lately, having been comatose for decades. Like I said about the Occupy movement, the Sanders campaign is a temperature check, not the main event. The left-wing right now is like an unorganized storm brewing, it's showing signs of activity but isn't quite established despite its growing strength. OWS, the sudden popularity of Sanders, BLM. Makes me wonder what's next and what happens when everything congeals.

We need term limits and a ban on lobbying for 10 years after you leave public office/service. If we can have presidential term limits why should other public office positions be any different ?
Welcome to profound political disillusionment. My anger at the Democratic party for fraud against bernie is causing me some existential turmoil about how I view politics in general. Maybe what was done is what was needed? I do not know...I just know I feel very let down by both parties, and voting third party is a waste because only blue shirts and red shirts get to play and people with no shirts ride the pine.
