Bernie Sanders

No way Bernie is out for utopia I'd imagine he is a supporter of amnesty and open borders. Most people that far to the left think borders are inherently racist.

Hopefully trump can stop Hilary in the fall. She plays the woman's card with the best of them.

Okay you just have to be trolling now. Bernie doesn't believe in open borders and thinks it's a libertarian ploy.

Does he have any hardline views on it? How does one secure the border without the wall or increased penalty. I feel like he has been very vague in order not to upset la raza and the like. Hilary says she is for border security with very little substantive policy to back it up.

the amount of undiluted bullshit you spout increases.

bernie does not believe in open borders. at all. from his site: "Border Security: We can and must secure borders without building a fence"

you're not trying. at all. troll.

Wow that link said essentially nothing concrete about his views on it. Sounds like amnesty and a few more border guards maybe????

what about "We can and must secure borders" says anything about open borders?

you said he supports open borders. prove it or stfu?

from: Border Security

"Bernie sees the importance of securing the border..." (bernie sanders)
"Bernie has supported legislation which would have increased border patrol operations" (bernie sanders)
"Bernie does not support an 'open borders policy...'" (bernie sanders)

what about those quotes says anything about open borders? that last link shows that you are simply wrong.

if this was trump, i'd get it droppers, because most of the campaign stuff that comes out of his mouth is just lies. an astonishing 75.91% is graded either 'mostly false', 'false' or 'pants on fire'. that's your guy, droppers.

but this is bernie, we're discussing, droppers. his combined 'mostly false' and 'false' (he has no 'pants on fire' lies) grading? 29.90%. still not great, imo, but in stark contrast to lyin' donald.

your statements look idiotic when you stubbornly argue against the facts...

If you do not think they are a voting base you are kidding yourself. There is a reason the voter ID laws are lobbied against and it is for these peoples access to vote.

Proof? Voter fraud is almost a non issue. Why would someone risk a felony to vote when we can barely get the legal populace to vote as is? While true that the family of illegals might be pandered to and vote because of this issue there is no proof that there is voter fraud going on. Election fraud however... TONS of proof that republicans especially want to make it harder to vote, gerrymander and redistrict, their on record for this too.

Indeed there is huge problems with gerrymandering from the republicans here in fl.

The "velocity of money" is known to be faster at the lower end than it is at the top. As it is now, a parasite caste of corporations and their oligarchical masters are hoarding trillions of capital that won't see its way back in circulation at the lower end any time soon. Do you think the CEO of X MegaCorp eats at Mom n' Pop's Burger Joint on the Corner? No. And that's just a micro example. We're talking vast sums of money.

Imagine if all Americans were +/- $30,000 richer. Don't imagine it for their sakes, imagine it for where that money would be headed. To businesses and commerce in general.

This is known shit and if you learn anything from history it tells you that when people have more money, they spend it more and it moves around more equitably.

I hadn't thought about this before but does this velocity of money mean that it is more beneficial for the community if at the lower a small sum of money tends to move at fast rate than a huge sum of money that stays in the bank account. I mean if there is a 10.000 USD which comes into a small business that then pays it to workers who quite fast put that amount into their daily payments and those get paid back into workers and etc. in a way that the money circulates for example 100 times in a month.

Wouldn't that actually mean that there were 100 x 10.000 when it comes to what have been bought. At the same time a 10 billion sitting in a bank account hasn't done anything to get people doing what they do daily?

Interesting idea. Should have taken economics as my major.

Yeah, we've been shit-boozled over the last few decades by the "money power" to support economic policies that don't make sense for the vast majority, just so that capital accumulates in a certain area, specifically at the top (policies that dislocate money from the poor and middle classes and move it into places where it is already accumulating).

This has been accomplished by a constant media bombardment to the minds of the public with complete crank shit like Austrian economics, the peculiarly retarded American strain of "libertarianism" (which I call retarded and put in quotes because it's not real libertarianism, only "libertarian" when it comes to its ardent support of laissez-faire economics and nothing else, and tends to be pretty fascist in general - it's just a bunch of poor and middle class people who were handed their anarchist streak from the corporate media to assist their parent companies and CEOs in robbing the commonwealth of its rightwise treasure - every real anarchist in the world laughs at you libertarian idiots fyi), and anyone else in the US who falls to the right of the INTERNATIONAL left-to-right scale (not the skewed-to-the-right scale we have in the US where anything that would be considered "centrist" elsewhere is considered some form of communism). These are the tools of the trade for the "money power". Confuse, divide and conquer.

We need major reshifting of government spending into the public sector. We have to reduce the enormous sums that get wasted in the military/prison/police industrial complexes, increase the amount of tax revenue we bring in from major corporations who have been getting away with ripping off the government at the government's own doing (and then telling us we're broke and need to institute austerity).

If it comes down to it, we need to use the government as the employer of last resort and hire hundreds of thousands of unemployed but useful individuals (at a fair wage - $15/hour, maybe even free housing to those willing to resettle to areas that require civil infrastructure upkeep more than others) to train and put to work on civil infrastructure (it would probably cost the same as Unemployment Insurance and would actually produce results). The possibilities in instituting such public programs are enormous and can't be understated. We could, instead of letting Wall Street gamblers destroy our economy and then bail them out when they're "too big to fail" only to let them get even bigger subsequently (I mean, seriously, did we let that happen?!), we could have used that money to fund thousands of small businesses at a low interest rate and help them grow. We could have trained an entire generation of engineers, technicians, doctors, and everything else. We could have refinanced all bad mortgages at a rate their homeowners can manage and help keep thousands of households from falling apart and stabilize the housing economy.

There are a thousand ways we could use our money more intelligently. The bottom line is this - government is a system we institute which is comprised of US...not corporations, not their vassals, but PEOPLE. Think of government as a giant robot. It's who's in the command bridge of that giant robot who dictate what it does. As long as we let monied interests and their familiars remain in control of that bridge, the giant robot will roll on the way it's been rolling on.

When the distinguished gentleman from Vermont moves into Pennsylvania Ave. (or even if he doesn't), when we surge with our new movement in the next midterms putting "Bernie" affiliated legislators into the Congress and gaining both houses, and when our SCOTUS is balanced in a sane direction, we can institute those policies with our shiny new 2017 GIANT FUCKING ROBOT.

Bernie Sanders is the only candidate that has any inclination to do any of the above things that need so badly to be done, and the future looks bright. All of the forthcoming primaries are in Bernie's favor. They are almost all "open" conventions, meaning Independents can cast their vote for whomever they damn well please, and caucus states that clearly show the strength we have in numbers which gets obfuscated by media trickery and voter fraud like they pulled in New York.

Sorry for the rambling post, but...I speak truth to you, my fellow patriotic American (and international) brothers and sisters.

Excellent post.

It is amazing how our culture in the states is setup so when a person fails they are subject to hyper-capitalims (basically losing pretty much everything) and wanting to help that person out is considered communist, but when a corporations fails, or wealthy person makes a mistake they are offered socialism in the form of bailouts, and tax cuts. They call helping the small guy communist (which for some reason is a bad word in the states) and helping the corporation or wealthy individual capitalism. It is just ass backwards if you ask me.
