Misc Benzydamine aka Tantum Rosa aka Benflogin

^ Maybe at lower doses the stimulant effect is stronger then the sedating properties? I wonder about it's mechanism of action but it's hard to find information on it's psychoactive properties.

It's available in Australia, but the best source of it (a big bottle) is mixed with chlorhexidine which I am unsure of it's toxicity and besides which I don't much care for deliriants.

I think it is because it is really easy to find and buy OTCs + the guarantee, that it won't be unpure, or better said it won't be unclean like some "streetdrugs" are.




Yesterday I took 150mg of Benzamide pure. It was just a bit relaxing + a minimum level of euphoria. I drank 750ml of Vodka with it, but could not sleep till now... That is really strange...

So other that OTC benzamide, what drugs are popular in Romania? Just curious: I know that speed's big in parts of E Europe - what else do Romanians go in for? Is there much of an ecstasy scene? Opiates? Just curious, if you can be bothered to answer...

Seems as if chlorhexidine is easily neutralized.

"Chlorhexidine is deactivated by anionic compounds, including the anionic surfactants commonly used as detergents in toothpastes and mouthwashes. [wikipedia.org]

If you wanted to get all scientific about it you could use some Tween 20, otherwise dishwashing liquid will suffice for neutralization.

As far as toxicity, it was tested for carcinogenesis at levels of up to 1gm/Kg/Day and came up clean. Draw your own conclusions.

Also, deactivation doesn't mean it won't do anything if I ingest it. It just means it's antiseptic properties are gone, possibly because it's become a salt?

Romanian Drug Scene

OTC drugs in Romania are very common and are usually used by teenagers.They include dxm,dyphenhidramine(recently),regenon(amphedrine),trihexyphenidilum,and pentazocine. Also most Romanians junkies are heavily into spice products and also all sorts of amphetamine derivatives sold under the brand of bath salt.Current Romanian legislation does not interdict them because new derivatives appear monthly and there is no law to ban them.Weed and mushrooms are also quite common and in Bucharest there are aprox. 20.000 heroin addicts(1% of the whole capital). Extasy,Ketamine and Lsd are hard to find and not very common but still present.Come to Romania any time..Iasi and Bucharest are full of just abou anything:D

I'm thinking about giving benzydamine a try, Mr Blond, you are talking about difflam c-solution, which is the red one with Chlorhexidine, There is a green one anti-inflammatory which has only benzydamine.
Now my question is, would it be possible to just pour the liquid onto a dish, evaporate it then scrape the powder left into capsules? its a mouthwash, so wouldnt it have some type of alcohol in it which i can just evaporate it?

Hello! As you can probably see from my user name i'm from Romania too and more precisely from the city of Galati...I must say that I am very wird person,I am fairly obssesed with my health and I am in some wird stuff like without extra sugar ,extra salt and so on...I am a definition of a quote romanians know very well : "Mananci ca sa traiesti,nu traiesti ca sa mananci" ...But,as weird as it sound ,I also take pleasure in doing drug,not frequently,I must add...About benzydamine,more commonly reffered to as Tantum Rosa in our country...I've doine it quite a few times,though i keep it rarely,but this high amount of salt thing disturbs me,not for the taste,this i can always get drunk while taking it and not feel anything let's say..but the health problem it's what gets on my nerves..recently I've promised to myself to not take this substance,unless of course ,somehow,from another country I can get it from the brazillian pills,I can't exactly remember the name right now,something with B if i remember corectly...But this possibility it's very slim in our country,as I am sure my fellow conationals know already...I've searched desperately,because I must add that I am that type of guy who likes very much deliriants and I'm not afraid at all of them and I love benzydamine...and now that I found this post with the napkins and I want to ask for the brand of napkins or for the brand of coffee filtlers if I don't demand too much...and *snip* P.S:Sorry for my probably bad English and also sorry if my account does'nt give about me some regularly information like city and so on,althout i mentioned myself,as unthinkable as it may sound,this is my first post on a forum...and,you understand,I hope

you really shouldn't use unextracted tantum rosa.

providing you have tantum rosa as sold in Poland, that is:
Benzydamine HCl - 0,5g
Salt - 8,8g
p-toluenosulfonian trójmetylocetyloamoniowy 0,1g (which I won't translate )

I assume 500mg of benzydamine (if you want eg. 1000mg double the amount of ingredients, and so on )

1. pour the sachet into glass (best is wine glass, because of lack of sharp edges)

2. add 25ml water <- the white floating particles are benzydamine

3. leave it for some time (like 10min)

4. filter it through filter paper (once I used tea bag, and it somehow worked) <- you're interested in the thing that's left on filter paper, in the water there's mainly salt

5. dry the filter paper

6. you should have nearly 500mg of benzydamine and some salt (maybe another 500mg) on filter paper

7. put it in capsules (the best way) or dissolve in water (the taste sucks)

don't abuse it, it's not healthy nor safe.
