Benzphetamine

By some freak chance, It appears I've come across a few tablets of Benzphetamine .
I know what it's used for, but I'm very skeptical as to whether or not it is of any recreational use.
Anyone here have any experience with it?
Bio-Chemistry really isn't my thing...so if some of the more enlightened ones among us could step forward and give me their opinion, I would greatly appreciate it.

A book on OTC and prescription drugs that I own says that benzphetamine can cause a "false sense of well-being", whatever the hell that is.

In those pesky drug books, 'a false sense of wellbeing' usually denotes rush of euphoria.
I think I'll go ahead and triple the reccomeneded dosage, and see what I find!

I know this thread is from a long time ago, but, does this (Didrex) have much rec. value? What about a substitute for ADD meds, for focus/getting things done?
I read it acts by itself, but it also metabolizes in part to d-methamphetamine and d-amphetamine.

A source suggest that around 10% or slightly lower of this is changed into amph/methamp. It doesn't distinguish enantiomers so if it is all d you are probably set otherwise it may be less potent.
From the earlier post if it creates a false sense of wellbeing it is fucking abuseable. Abuseable stimulants that aren't also hallucinagens (MDMA) are usually good for ADD type issues in direct proportion to how abuseable they are.

Its a CIII stimulant, so you could think of it as the stimulant equivalent to T-3's.
Oh and l-deprenyl (MAOI used for severe depression) is partially metabolized to d,l-methamphetamine, but its not even a controlled substance.

I wonder how hard it would be to convert this stuff to meth. Makes you want to go borrow your friend's liver and mix it in with the pill, se if it will metabolize into meth.
