Benzo's whats the big deal?!

Like other ppl have said, if you're the anxious type or suffer from panic disorder, the fact that taking a pill that takes that all away and completely relaxes you is such a huge relief that it can almost be euphoric. That's how I feel at times when I take my Xanax after suffering an attack (I get panic attacks and I still have them after 5 years now).
 
Benzos are generally pretty boring to me.
However, I've been going through a rough time after finding out my fiance has been a cheater and liar so I left our apartment and staying somewhere else for awhile and I've been using small doses of Xanax (alprazolam) just about every night and it has really helped me remain calm and sleep like a baby.

The alprazolam hasn't really caused any euphoria, per se, but has been leaving me feeling quite good. Has allowed me to feel very relaxed, even a little more social. I've never had effects like this from benzos. It may be just because it's mixing with my daily 200-250mg of tramadol, but I've enjoyed benzos more than usual lately.

I do not plan on using the alprazolam much longer and I don't miss if it I don't have it. Just been using it to calm down my nerves at night and to sleep.

but you're right, they generally suck for recreation.
 
Personally I LOVE klonopin.

Like 4-6mg of klonopin, a blunt, you're fuckin good to go. But be careful. When you over do it, or drink while taking them, you tend to lose your inhibitions and get total memory loss. I've had some fuckin CRAZZZZY story's told about me and my ex fiancee when we got fucked up. I never remember a thing for the most part.
 
THey are for calming down not for euphoria

I personally never understood why people would get fucked up on benzos for a "high"

I actually had to break up with a really hot chick because she was popping crazy amounts of bars and calling me making no sense almost every other day.

Ive fooled around with benzos but I use them for coming down off stimulants (adderall) and it works like a goddsend for this reason. Also is great when combined with marijuana. Very clear headed high.

I got klonopin but I really didnt see what the big deal was....

I mean yeah I was great combined with weed, but even on 4mg I was just sorta chillin, It didnt have that real blast of relaxation that xanax or valium does for me.

Still it did fine when I went to the bar and just smoked and enjoyed my 4mg of K-pin watchin all my friends drunk. This drunk as shit bitch was trying to get into an arguement with me and I couldnt stop laughing.

I swear benzos+ weed is like the most carefree shit in the world.

Also when I was driving home a car full of mexican cholo fools drove up next to me while I was on my way home, blasting Boom Jinx and Andrew Bayer "keyboard cowboys" (such a dope song check it out),

Anyway they COMPLETELY blasted there system of some kind of gangsta rap, so I looked at them and all 4 of them (girl ridin shotty) were starin me down. I laughed to myself, picked up my pipe and hit it in front of them, and they were like "ohh shit HOMIE PASS THAT!" and gettin all friendly, lol was pretty funny.

But ANYWAY sorry im a bit speedy and while I like the K-pin weed high I think xanax is better for getting calm as I feel K-pins take 2 long to kick in, but are still great in combo for mary jane.
 
^^^ True, but once ya build a tolerance, your pretty safe. Just gotta know your limits. I've take my 6 scripted 20mg roxi, 20mg op regamin since 3pm yesterday, came home this morning from work and cracked a heineken light, packed a bowl of sour w/ some bubblehash, ate 1mg of xanax and feeling quite wonderful right about now. I'm gonna sleep like a baby, wake up and do it all over again hehe.
 
Benzo's alone I personally don't like at all unless I'm in a horrible mood or really tense or suffering from insomnia. Sometimes I mix a xanax or two with opiates to help with the nod or even to help with tight muscles and to help some with osin,

My father has back pain and I give him 1/2-3/4 of the scrior I get because even with him being on ms-contin he can't sleep. like 1-1.5mg of xanax though and he's out like a baby. He usually sleep 30-40mins every 24 hours normally, with xanax he can sleep hours.


Anyway like I was saying not something to get high on but HIGHLY useful.
 
The thing I don't like with benzos is the super fast tolerance. Yes you enjoy them the first three times, and then if you take the same amount you just feel normal.
 
Perhaps it's because I'm super anxious all the time and get panic attacks, but a small dose of Xanax (0.25 to 0.5mg) still works well for me. Or perhaps it's because I also take methadone.
 
My psych. gave me the blue ones straight away from the start. He actually stated that 5mg is not a sufficient dose for an adult male and maybe only a petit woman might benefit from the 5mg tabs. I like his way of thinking.=D
 
The 2mg ones are useful for detox, too. Then there are the drops. 1mg for three drops.
 
Certain benzos are euphoric for some people. I find that the only benzo i get any real euphoria off is temazepam. Theres something about temazepam that makes it feel better then other benzos. Combos of benzos such as temazepam+lorazepam, temazepam+diazepam, temazepam+oxazepam or temazepam+clonazepam are also quite fun.

I take 4-6mg's of clonazepam a day for anxiety but on it's own i don't get any euphoria from it.
 
I was taking up to 5mgs a day of kpins for several months (I started at .5 doses than my addiction grew). I used a very slight taper but it might as well have been cold turkey... I felt like I was gonna crawl out of my skin. Literally. It was hell for weeks but I did it and I had legit anxiety. You need coping techniques and not just pills for anxiety.
 
I thought Benzo's were the bees knees until i tried them and what a fucking letdown, nasty shit that gives you the worst withdrawals you can imagine. They only help people who suffer from anxiety. What am i talking about im now physically dependent on these little blue devils, stay clear unless you actually need them,not something to fuck around with
 
^^^ I have no choice but to take clonazepam as it's the only thing thats worked for my anxiety. Before i went on it i was a anxious wreck and had GAD, panic attacks and abit of social phobia. I also had depersonalization and derealization as well as brain fog from the anxiety :p

So not being on benzos sucks far worse then being on them atleast for me :\ . I wouldnt recomend anyone to take them enough to get hooked unless you actually need them for anxiety.
