benzos & valerian- a good combo?

would valerian boost or enhance the effects of benzos?

they both act on same receptors(i realize valerian isn't strong), so would there be any synergy?

benzos are retarded, they prevent slow wave sleep. valerian promotes slow wave sleep. if ur looking for good restful sleep i suggest u ditch the benzos and od on valerian. or ask for ghb.

nvm if ur suffering from anxiety and not sleep. i would imagine using valerian with benzos would only make the effect of benzos stronger. what ive noticed with valerian is that it makes me eat food a lot slower since i'm not in a rush or feeling anxious.

I think you will not see any extra boost form the valerian unless you take either: A large dose of OTC, or make a fresh preparation. The stuff you can buy in the drug stores in capsule/tincture form is generally pretty weak; I find a dose needs to be larger than 1000mg to have an effect. Generally I take 4-6 450mg caps to be one dose of the kind I have. If you could buy fresh valerian root and prepare it somehow then you may find it to be stronger.
